In this episode Danni chats with Dr. Jonathan Kolieb from RMIT University (Melbourne) about his journey from Australia to California and Washington, and back home to Melbourne. Jonathan talks about the importance of a good supervisor - researcher working relationships, as well as on his work on human rights and companies, and children in armed conflicts. In this episode Jonathan drank his newly favorite drink, Gin and Tonic, and Danni drank Amaretto.


Dr Jonathan Kolieb is a Senior Lecturer in Law at the Graduate School of Business and Law, RMIT University. Jonathan’s research and teaching interests focus on global governance issues, including current projects on international conflict resolution, business and human rights, and the accountability of transnational corporations under international law. His PhD dissertation was entitled: “Corporate Peacebuilding and the Law: Regulating the Private Sector for Conflict Transformation.”
