The Torrevieja Animal Volunteers Association (AVAT) is made up of a total of twelve people of six different nationalities, all of them volunteers at the Torrevieja Municipal Shelter.This association lends its help to the operation of the animal centre in this town in aspects in which the city council feels that iss performance is limited, either due to lack of staff or long administrative procedures.
