This podcast is to explore the state of healthcare in Whatcom County. My name is Dr. Nate Stephens, and I have been a board-certified emergency physician for 12 years. I live in Whatcom County with two young boys and a wonderful wife. My goal is to create a space to talk about what it's like being a healthcare consumer, practitioner, and our current state of healthcare here in Whatcom County and in the United States. As a part of healthcare, public health is something we've been grappling with in our community. So we will be open to some of these complex topics!
