Bryan and Stephanie chat with Caroline Gingles, the Director of our International Student Welcome Centre! The Welcome Centre welcomes all of our newcomer students and their families who want to register for school in ASD-E. The students participate in a language assessment, literacy assessment and numeracy assessment so they are set up with the appropriate supports and resources to ensure they have a positive and welcoming transition into their new school.  Caroline shares the number of newcomer students currently registered in our District, some facts about all the languages you can hear at ASD-E schools and some of the awesome activities schools do to allow students to share and experience each others' cultures and traditions!
