So I'm not sure how many of

0:04

you guys follow me over on Instagram,

0:07

but in September when I did a

0:09

trip to California, I had this insane

0:11

virus that was localized in my neck

0:14

and was affecting the nerves of my

0:16

neck. And I was in so

0:19

much pain and it was very much

0:21

mirroring this emotional pain that I was almost

0:23

in and was helping to kind of put

0:26

me in a place where I was forced

0:28

to see things that I absolutely needed to

0:30

see and could only see when I was

0:32

in a place of ripping everything else away

0:34

to really make time for myself so that

0:36

I could process that pain. And

0:38

while I was in that state and having

0:41

a crazy journey, which I'll probably do a

0:43

solo podcast about soon, I

0:46

ended up having a one-on-one

0:48

breathwork session with Erica. Her

0:50

Instagram is inKalexKale. Her

0:52

company is called Evolved by Erica

0:54

and she is a meditation kundalini

0:57

breathwork teacher. And we

0:59

did a one-on-one Zoom breathwork and I

1:01

cried like a baby to the point

1:03

where she was like, okay, are

1:05

you crying from the pain in the neck? Are you

1:07

crying from something else? And I was like, no, no,

1:09

no, I'm crying because of it all. It was the

1:11

first place that I felt safe to actually let

1:13

go and release everything and actually acknowledge

1:16

how much pain I was in. And

1:19

I loved her technique and the

1:21

way that she taught and held space for me.

1:24

I felt so comfortable and I knew that I had to

1:26

have her on the podcast. So today she's

1:28

going to give you guys a little bit

1:30

of that magic that she shared with me

1:32

in our one-on-one breathwork session. And

1:34

she's going to explain everything about what she

1:37

does, her story, her journey to breathwork, how

1:39

it can help you, why it's

1:41

so important for you to start your day

1:43

with some kind of even a five minute

1:46

meditation, breathwork, sound healing, humming, whatever you can

1:48

get your body to do. Because

1:50

as she says in this episode, you need

1:52

to take out the garbage from yesterday so

1:54

that you can actually have space for what's

1:57

coming in today. And I never thought of

1:59

it that way. I always woke up in the morning

2:01

and I would just, I remember, roughed into the

2:03

thing I had to do, whether that was walk the dog or

2:05

feed the dog or stretch or scroll on my

2:07

phone or check that email. And

2:10

I just always fail to see it

2:12

from that perspective where if I'm not actively

2:14

letting go and releasing through my own voice,

2:17

in my own sound, in my own breath,

2:19

all of the crap that I'm holding onto from the

2:22

day before or from the stressors that I'm going through,

2:24

how am I going to create this space

2:27

for me to receive the joy and the

2:29

insights and the possibility that could happen in

2:31

that day, otherwise I'm just stuffed in full

2:33

and I don't have anything to give. And

2:36

so Erica really talks about how to kind

2:38

of create a very simple morning routine and

2:41

practice where you can utilize the

2:43

techniques that she learned, these ancient

2:45

Kundalini techniques, to start your day

2:48

on a whole different note and really catapult yourself

2:50

into a whole different chapter of your

2:52

life simply by changing that state that

2:54

you're allowing yourself to get to in

2:56

the morning. She's going to share her

2:59

whole story. She was originally a special

3:01

education teacher and once she got into

3:03

breath work in Kundalini, she

3:05

could see how changing and raising her

3:07

energy and her joy from these techniques

3:10

was actually changing the energy and the

3:12

way that the kids in her classroom

3:14

responded to her. And she knew

3:17

that she had to bring this technique to the masses. So

3:19

if you are really into body work and

3:21

breath work and all of these energetic techniques

3:24

that we need in order to

3:26

soothe and balance and nourish our nervous

3:28

systems because we can't have physical health

3:30

without emotional and spiritual health, this

3:33

is the episode for you. She's

3:35

just so motivating and grounded and

3:38

really inspired me to get into a practice.

3:40

So I've been using her app now and

3:42

I love it. When she does her chants

3:44

and her meditations, it comes from this deep

3:46

place within her. I'm like, who is that

3:48

ancient voice? And she is just amazing. So

3:51

I think you're going to fall in love with

3:53

her too. And for those of you who do

3:55

resonate with her, I highly recommend her app, one

3:57

of the best purchases I've made this year. and

4:00

I think she has an offer for you as well so we'll put

4:03

that in the show notes. Enjoy this episode.

4:05

Let's get into all of the breath work

4:07

and all things spiritual and

4:09

emotional healing and regulation and it's

4:12

so exciting for me to learn

4:14

about this topic with you guys because this is a

4:16

reminder that I really need to. Alright

4:18

catch you on the flip side. Thank you so

4:21

much for listening again week over week. I'm

4:23

already starting to work on season 5 and I'm gonna

4:26

switch a few things up so I'm excited.

4:28

Thanks for being on the ride with me. One

4:31

of the first things I ever purchased as

4:33

an investment for my health and for the health

4:35

of my family of course was a water

4:37

filter and this was back when I first

4:39

started learning about fluoride and all the other water

4:41

contaminants at the very beginning of my health

4:43

journey and I realized that my

4:45

Brita filter that I grew up with was

4:48

just not cutting it. I'll never forget researching

4:50

all these different brands and trying to make

4:52

a decision on what company made the most

4:54

effective purifier, I removed the maximum amount of

4:56

contaminants from my city's tap water. It was

4:59

very overwhelming so since then I've

5:01

tried a lot of different water purifiers

5:03

over the years and I often get

5:06

questions on what type and model I'm

5:08

using now and the one I

5:10

use is called Aqua True. I'm sure that you

5:12

guys have heard me talk about Air Doctor. They

5:14

make air purifiers and I love them. I originally

5:16

bought them when we were surprised with our beloved

5:19

dog Banks because I knew animal dander was gonna

5:21

be a major thing and an issue in our

5:23

home and I was so

5:25

pleased with the effectiveness of Air Doctors

5:28

air purifiers that I started looking into

5:30

their company and I found out that they

5:32

also made water filters and it's a sister

5:34

company called Aqua True. So

5:36

I bought the Aqua True purifier and I

5:39

could not be happier with it and they

5:41

are kind enough to have sponsored today's episode.

5:43

We reached out to them they know I'm

5:45

a huge fan of the Air Doctor purifiers

5:47

and I'm so grateful that they're giving us

5:50

a discount. So

5:52

I'm sure the importance of filtering your water in

5:54

general is not something that I need to convince

5:56

you of because those of us on

5:58

the holistic journey we are serious. about

6:00

what water we drink because it's something that

6:02

we have to interface with daily. We consume

6:04

so much of it and we're made of

6:06

60% water. So it's

6:08

a really low-hanging fruit when you look at easy

6:11

decisions and swaps that you can make

6:13

that have a much bigger impact on your

6:15

health. I'm not sure if you've ever tried typing

6:17

in your zip code on EWG's tap

6:19

water database, but it's insane.

6:22

If you just go and type in EWG

6:24

tap water database on Google, plug in your

6:26

zip code and you will see every single

6:28

contaminant that's in the tap water of your

6:30

city. And you'll also see

6:32

the potential effects of those contaminants and

6:34

how much higher their concentration is than the

6:37

legal limit or what's safe for our

6:39

bodies. It is a humbling eye-opening experience

6:41

and it's a great site because it'll show

6:43

you a chart of what kind of

6:45

water filter will protect you against those

6:47

exact contaminants. So

6:49

when I looked up mine, I did a

6:52

2021 refresh and I saw

6:54

that reverse osmosis filters would take care

6:56

of most of the toxins in my

6:58

city. So that's why I originally also

7:00

switched to AquaTrue because I saw that

7:02

they were reverse osmosis, which I had

7:05

never tried before and I'm so happy

7:07

with it. So AquaTrue

7:09

purifies using a four-stage reverse

7:11

osmosis purification process. There are

7:13

these countertop purifiers that work

7:15

with absolutely no insulation or

7:18

plumbing. It's super easy and it removes 15

7:20

times more contaminants than ordinary picture

7:23

filters. And it's specifically designed to

7:25

combat chemicals like PFAs, which are

7:27

those forever chemicals that just stay

7:30

in our bodies for the rest

7:32

of our lives. Really scary stuff.

7:34

AquaTrue's technology is independently tested by

7:36

IAPMO and shown to remove over

7:39

80 of the most

7:41

harmful contaminants from our water,

7:43

including chlorine, fluoride, arsenic, and

7:46

again, those PFAs, forever chemicals.

7:48

Their filters are also really affordable and long-lasting.

7:50

You don't have to change them every two

7:53

to three months. They last literally

7:55

from six months to two years, depending on

7:57

how much water you drink and how big your

7:59

family is. And just one set

8:01

of filters from their classic purifier is the equivalent

8:03

of 4,500 bottles of water. So

8:06

you're going to save the environment from tons of

8:08

plastic waste and that's like 3 cents a bottle.

8:11

The best part is Aquatru comes with a

8:13

30-day money-back guarantee and makes a great gift

8:15

for the holidays if you have a holistic

8:17

junkie in your life. So today

8:19

my listeners are going to receive 20% off

8:22

any Aquatru purifier. Just

8:25

go to aquatru.com,

8:28

that's aquatru.com and

8:30

enter the code JUICE at checkout. That's

8:32

20% off any Aquatru water

8:34

purifier when you go to aquatru.com and use

8:37

the code JUICE. And of course we'll

8:39

pop it in the show notes. Thank

8:41

you so much to Aquatru. And

8:44

of course I have to give a final

8:46

shout out to my favorite toothpaste brand that

8:48

has literally kept us going throughout

8:50

this whole season. We love No BS toothpaste tablets.

8:54

They're amazing. Also

8:56

make a really good gift or last-minute holiday

8:58

stocking stuffer, again for the holistic junkie in

9:00

your life. If

9:02

you have been looking for a

9:04

super clean, super healthy, fluoride-free toothpaste

9:07

that actually has an active ingredient to

9:09

replace the fluoride and help

9:11

fight cavities and remineralize your teeth, say

9:14

hello to No BS. They are these simple little tablets that are

9:16

dehydrated. It

9:18

doesn't come in a plastic tube. You

9:21

just pop a tablet in your mouth, chew it a few

9:23

times, and then brush normally. And because they're

9:25

dehydrated tablets, they come in a glass jar. You don't have

9:27

any plastic waste. You don't have

9:29

any exposure to BPAs. They're so easy, and it's the

9:31

perfect little measured moment of toothpaste. You'll

9:34

never have to think about it again if you did too little

9:36

or too much. And the

9:38

best part is the ingredients are absolutely

9:40

incredible. No BS

9:43

or Nob's toothpaste was formulated by

9:45

a dentist to provide a minimalist

9:47

toothpaste without sacrificing on efficacy. It's

9:49

formulated with the safest remineralizing agent

9:51

alternative to fluoride, which

9:54

is called nano hydroxyapatite, and it also

9:56

has super gentle polishing ingredients that won't

9:58

damage your teeth. harm your

10:00

enamel or strip your microbiome. Hydroxyapatite

10:02

has been shown to prevent and

10:04

even in some cases arrest tooth

10:06

decay in studies and it's

10:09

a biomimetic substance. So it's exactly the

10:11

same material found in our teeth and

10:13

bones. So it has all these different

10:15

medical applications and again actually helps to

10:17

remineralize your teeth. It's such a safe

10:19

alternative ingredient that you can use it

10:21

if you're pregnant, if you're breastfeeding, they

10:23

have kids formulas. It's a really incredible

10:25

toothpaste brand. So you can save 15%

10:27

off of your first one-month supply of

10:30

NOBBS by using code

10:49

Thank you guys so much for

10:52

making this season happen. Okay

10:55

are you ready? We

10:59

feel each other's emotions. It's

11:01

everything. It's living my life

11:03

in the future. That's the

11:05

message. There's no difference

11:07

between our mental health and our

11:09

physical health. What's your sign? Oh

11:12

my sign okay. So I'm a

11:14

Libra Sun, Leo Rising,

11:22

and Aquarius Moon. Oh I love the

11:25

Aquarius Moon. I was really excited. Like

11:27

after going to Kundalini training and learning

11:29

all about the Aquarian age and Aquarian

11:31

energy, I was so

11:33

happy to hear I had Aquarius in my

11:36

chart. Yeah well Aquarians just like bring through

11:38

new ways of thinking. Exactly. New paradigm. Exactly.

11:40

Makes sense that that's also like in your

11:42

moon where it's your emotional world and stuff.

11:44

Your spirituality. Yeah. You're changing the game for

11:47

us. Thank you. So

11:49

I think we should take you back to the beginning and I'd

11:52

love for you to just introduce yourself and tell us

11:54

what you do, what you practice, and how you got

11:56

into it. Yeah so my

11:58

name is Erica Pulsinelli and I

12:00

practice and teach Kundalini and

12:03

that is the practice that has

12:05

really helped me first and

12:07

foremost to get a handle over

12:09

debilitating anxiety that I live with

12:11

my entire life. I in 2017

12:14

everything really came to a head after

12:16

I got married during my better return.

12:19

I just started to realize I actually moved in

12:22

with my husband around this time and I

12:25

was observing like wow some

12:27

people don't have anxiety. Some

12:29

people are sitting there watching a movie

12:32

and actually watching a movie and not

12:34

thinking about every fear that they could

12:36

possibly dream up and that was him

12:39

and the contrast was me where

12:41

I would be sitting there and it looked like

12:43

I was watching a movie but I was thinking

12:46

of I was diagnosing myself with anything and everything

12:48

under the sun. I would call my mom every

12:50

day and tell her a new condition

12:52

I thought I had. I had really bad health

12:54

anxiety and I was done

12:56

with it. I started to see friends who

12:58

were on a spiritual

13:00

path and I had

13:03

this moment of realization of I'm spending

13:05

all day thinking about the things I

13:07

don't want in my life and

13:09

there are people that are actually putting their

13:11

energy towards what they do want and

13:13

their dreams and I realized how

13:15

much anxiety was impacting me from

13:18

truly experiencing my fullest

13:20

potential and the practice

13:22

found me. One day on Instagram

13:25

before Instagram like knew how to

13:27

get us. Yeah before the algorithm

13:29

was embedded in our brain. Yes

13:32

before it knew every interest we

13:34

had this is 2017 something popped

13:36

up on my page and

13:38

I was like I have to try this and I just

13:40

knew I actually texted my friend who was like a spiritual

13:42

guide for me at that point and I asked her like

13:44

do you think this is legit like what is this and

13:46

before she could even answer my intuition was like

13:49

go do it and I

13:51

tried a 3 or

13:53

5 minute breath work and

13:56

I felt orgasmic like I felt

13:58

like post orgasm energy. like a

14:01

huge relief buzzing

14:03

vibrating elevated all

14:06

bliss all of these things and I was

14:08

like I don't know what it is I just

14:10

said I have no idea what mantra I just

14:12

said I don't even know what it means

14:14

but whatever I just did is really good

14:16

for me and I'm gonna do it every day

14:18

and that's what I did in person no

14:20

online Wow and I just started I was

14:23

an elementary school teacher at the time yeah I

14:25

had no yeah special education teacher yeah and

14:27

every morning I would just do three to

14:29

five minutes every morning and I was like this

14:31

makes me feel good I'm gonna keep doing it and

14:34

I'm disciplined in that way like if I know something's

14:36

good for me I'm gonna frickin do it I'm just

14:38

gonna do it so I

14:40

started to do it and I would after

14:42

some time I would feel an immediate relief

14:45

but then I would go to school and

14:47

I would I found like a new meaning to

14:49

my job I always knew that wasn't my

14:51

Dharma that I would say teaching elementary

14:53

school forever but I found this

14:56

new meaning to it I had more

14:58

energy I had more gratitude I had

15:00

more patience for the kids I

15:02

started to see how my energy impacted

15:04

them and I just

15:07

started to notice like something is

15:09

changing within me and then I would walk

15:11

around I live by the beach at this time I still do

15:13

and I would just look at the sunset and be like oh my god

15:15

I feel like I have a new set of eyes I

15:18

feel like I have more access to my

15:20

brain and this wisdom that I now have

15:22

been downloaded with that I never had before

15:24

like what is happening to me so

15:27

I went and I got trained I did a

15:29

nine-month program for Kundalini

15:31

and the day before I was a

15:33

weekly because I'm like at the time I

15:36

was like a very indecisive Libra like I didn't know should

15:38

I do this should I not and I

15:40

was just so ready for change the practice

15:42

impacted me so much in the little that

15:44

I knew about it and I told

15:46

my husband I'm a weekly but I don't care I'm gonna show

15:48

up late to the training and I'm

15:50

just gonna go for it do not worry I'm not

15:52

going to be a yogi I'm not going to become

15:54

a yoga teacher or a meditation teacher I'm going to

15:57

find my purpose day two

16:00

everything downloaded. It's like my first step

16:02

of how Evolve would look.

16:06

I didn't even pay attention all day too because I

16:08

was just receiving this download and

16:10

the name came, the structure

16:12

of it came, everything came for me and

16:14

that was it. And then after I just started

16:16

teaching. Wow, how did

16:18

you start teaching online? Yeah. Okay. Since I

16:21

was an elementary school teacher I wanted to

16:23

find a way. I was never scared to

16:25

work really hard. When I was a teacher

16:27

I would tutor three hours a

16:29

night after school. I was very

16:31

motivated to like succeed and do well. I

16:33

went for administrative, my administrative degree.

16:36

I always knew I wanted to continue to grow

16:38

and evolve just to know how. So

16:40

when I started this I'm like okay I'm going

16:42

to start building this. I'm going to start sharing

16:45

from such an authentic place. I was

16:47

like this feels like a secret that everyone

16:50

needs to know about. It's gonna help them, it's

16:52

gonna heal them, it's gonna help them be their best

16:54

self and it's gonna change the world and

16:56

I need to just share this and that's what I did. I

16:58

started my Instagram account I believe

17:00

in 2018. I just started sharing and

17:03

then yes 2019, July 1st I launched

17:06

my membership where people could have access

17:08

every month. They would get a new

17:11

meditation to do and it's

17:13

been growing ever since. That's

17:15

incredible. So what did this training involve

17:17

when you say Kundalini? What is that?

17:19

What are the different modalities that you

17:21

learned within your training? Is it breathwork?

17:23

Is it meditation? Is it all the

17:25

above? So Kundalini is

17:27

an ancient practice that's been

17:29

around for thousands of years. It was

17:31

brought to the United States in the

17:33

60s and which is funny

17:35

like the time of Woodstock, the Enlightenment,

17:37

it's actually we're told in our training

17:40

that they opened Woodstock with that mantra.

17:42

Oh Namo Verde Namo. Yeah,

17:44

really I've chilled. I know. So it came to

17:46

the United States

17:51

in the 60s where people started practicing

17:54

here and Yoga Studio started opening up

17:56

but basically it's a really spiritual practice

17:58

that consists of different breathworks,

18:01

mantras, mudras, what we do with

18:03

our hands to activate different energy

18:05

within ourselves and connect to the

18:07

planetary energy as well, movements,

18:09

breathwork, mantra and meditation. And

18:13

it's known to be a very accelerated

18:15

way to get to your destiny

18:17

and where you want to go.

18:19

And we can live in

18:21

our journey of karma or we can

18:24

live on the journey of Dharma and

18:26

it really helps us to make that shift

18:28

and come in alignment with our destiny. And

18:31

lately I've been kind of

18:33

feeling the shift within myself. We were talking about

18:36

so much change coming up and

18:38

Kundalini has been my tool to help

18:41

me tap into the healer within myself. I don't know

18:43

what forever looks like. I just know this was a

18:45

tool that helped me get to where I want to

18:47

be really, really, really fast. It helps my

18:50

anxiety, my panic attacks and it opened

18:52

up the teacher and the healer within

18:54

me. And I'm excited for where it

18:56

takes me because I think there's more.

18:58

Where did this practice originate and is

19:00

it encompassed in the practice or even

19:02

like the religion of yoga essentially? Okay,

19:05

really good question. So it

19:07

is yoga. So we learned in our training, we

19:09

learned a lot about the yoga practices,

19:12

our food, how we eat, just

19:14

different cleanses that you would find

19:16

in yoga tradition. A lot

19:19

of the mantras are actually

19:21

from Sikhism. And

19:23

some people have a problem with that because

19:25

Sikhism is a religion. And I have a

19:28

friend who is a practicing Sikh and I

19:30

met him in like a really divine way.

19:33

I walked into a boutique one day and

19:35

this t-shirt had the long time sun mantra

19:37

on it. And that's a mantra we ends

19:39

Kundalini with. And it's an

19:41

English mantra made a long time sunshine upon you.

19:44

And I saw this on the t-shirt and I was

19:46

like, what is this? Like no one knows about what

19:48

I practiced at this time. It was like 20s, 18, 2017. A lot of people weren't

19:54

practicing this yet. I'm like, who makes the shirt

19:56

to the owner? And she told me she

19:58

put me in contact with him. And

20:00

we've just built a great relationship and he

20:02

loves the idea that I chant some of

20:04

the things that he chants and he's been

20:07

chanting his whole life. And

20:09

he also loves the idea that

20:11

Kundalini advocates for

20:13

some or promotes some of the mantras

20:15

that he practices in his religion. But

20:18

Kundalini is not a religion. The

20:20

meditation, the breath work, the mudras,

20:22

all of that is very much in

20:25

yoga, a yoga structure originating from

20:27

India. The mantra aspect of it

20:30

are mantras that you could find that are

20:32

practiced in Sikhism. It's such

20:34

an interesting amalgamation, kind of

20:36

taking these core practices

20:38

from different traditions and

20:41

religions and bringing them into this kind

20:43

of like system or, you know, like

20:45

format that one can use in their

20:47

daily life. I'm like kind of mind

20:49

blown that these are mantras utilized in

20:51

a religion because I think that's

20:53

an interesting topic. A lot of people in America

20:56

are actually not as religious as we once were.

20:58

A lot of people are more spiritual now and

21:00

there's sometimes ambiguity around that. Like what does

21:02

it mean? Who do I belong to? What

21:04

do I believe in? So it's nice that we get to

21:07

connect with religious practice, but it's also nice to know

21:09

and honor where they came from as well. Yeah,

21:11

I think it's so important to honor

21:13

that and touch up on that and

21:15

show such respect for that. I

21:18

grew up Catholic. I went to a Catholic high

21:20

school and I will

21:22

be honest and this is no disrespect to anyone

21:24

who's practicing Catholicism, but a lot of it didn't

21:26

make sense to me. I just like I would

21:28

ask all these questions in religion, try to get

21:30

to these answers and my religion teachers would give

21:33

me an answer, but I'm like, there's more, there's

21:35

more, there's more. And after

21:37

starting to practice Kundalini, I actually gained

21:39

so much insight and perspective on the

21:41

religion that I've learned about

21:43

in school for so many years, but

21:46

finally like understood more after

21:48

accessing this energy within me.

21:51

And in addition to that oneness

21:53

that we're all so connected. And

21:55

to me, it almost makes sense.

21:57

Like I love. appreciating

22:00

another religion that I am not part of

22:02

but I can appreciate what it

22:04

has to offer and how it connects me

22:06

so deeply to divine. But again,

22:08

it's not a religious practice at all. You don't have

22:10

to be any part of any religion

22:12

to practice it. It's really just a

22:14

powerful way of using these mantras, these

22:16

sounds, using breath

22:18

techniques to help you experience an

22:21

elevated version of you. And

22:24

when you become elevated your whole

22:26

experience becomes elevated. Yeah, it's

22:28

interesting because there's almost these keys

22:30

that unlock doors to the divine

22:32

within each religion, right? Whether it's

22:35

even in Catholicism like you kind of make an altar,

22:37

right? Like you have your rosary or you sort of

22:39

have this altar where you pray to God to Jesus

22:41

or in Sikhism you, you know, perform

22:43

these mantras. You use sound to connect with the

22:46

divine and to sort of like center

22:48

the mind and body and open it up to

22:50

God. And in any religion again you can find

22:52

some form of that. In the Jewish religion there's

22:54

fasting as a way to connect with yourself and

22:56

the divine. So it's interesting

22:59

that the goal of every religion

23:01

is to connect with the

23:04

divine, whether you call that a God or

23:06

source or a higher power and to also

23:08

feel that within you. And I think

23:11

it's such a privilege that we get to sort of

23:13

try different techniques and see what resonates the

23:15

most with us and what gets us there

23:18

the fastest and what feels truest to us

23:20

while still paying those respects. So that's

23:22

beautiful. What did you realize

23:24

about Catholicism as you dove into Kundalini?

23:28

So I would always

23:30

have this question to my teachers. I would be

23:32

like, I don't understand like we in Catholicism

23:35

we worship Jesus and but

23:38

there's also God. Yeah, then there's

23:41

a Holy Spirit. Like I'm not

23:43

getting this. Like I don't understand

23:45

it. Yeah, and I think afterwards

23:48

I actually saw one of my religion teachers a

23:50

few years ago at a fundraising event and he's

23:53

like, oh no we got better at that. It's

23:55

actually like water. You know how there's like three

23:57

states of water and I'm like, dude, I love

23:59

it. you. This

24:01

is great. Like, this is awesome. This

24:03

is how you teach it now. That's

24:05

fine. But I think what it brought

24:08

me is this understanding of I now

24:10

see Jesus as a lightworker, no matter

24:12

what religion you are. He was

24:14

someone coming here on earth to

24:17

help us understand that there's something

24:19

more, that there is this G-O-D

24:21

energy, this God energy. And

24:23

that's kind of how I see it

24:26

now. And I think with Catholicism, I'm

24:28

pretty sure I'm not an expert, clearly,

24:30

but these are just some downloads that came through. I think

24:32

a lot of people, you know, see

24:34

Jesus as that huge figure because He brought

24:36

this news to us and He brought these

24:39

messages and these teachings to us.

24:41

And they're also, in addition to

24:44

Him, there's this God energy that

24:46

I believe is within all of us. And I don't

24:48

know if my religion teachers would like me to say

24:51

that, but I do. I believe that it exists within

24:53

all of us because I know, and I'm

24:55

sure we've all had those moments where we

24:57

have that spiritual moment of like how I

24:59

responded to that person, that was not me, that

25:02

was divine. Like when you're really triggered and all

25:04

of a sudden your higher self comes in and

25:06

you're able to rise above and find love and

25:08

compassion in a moment that could

25:10

really trigger the human self or the ego,

25:13

we have these moments where we could like touch

25:16

that energy, that divine energy. And I think it

25:18

lives within all of us. I

25:20

guess you could even say that's intuition as well.

25:22

When you receive that pain that comes in you,

25:24

even this morning at SOPHONY, I woke up at

25:26

5.30 and I just

25:28

had this uneasy feeling in my stomach, could I

25:30

go back to sleep? And then like two seconds

25:33

later, my dog like threw up and got

25:35

sick. Something like woke me up out of my

25:37

sleep, didn't know what it was. I was

25:39

like, maybe I should go back to sleep. And then

25:41

I heard Him, needed help, went to go help Him. So

25:43

it's just like those little examples where He's like, why

25:45

else would I have woken up like that? Why else

25:47

would I have gotten that dream that came true or gave

25:49

me a message? There's just all of these things that

25:51

are unexplainable. And I think for those of

25:54

us listening and for those of us

25:56

in the younger generation, let's say, who are in this

25:59

in between. world of having parents

26:02

and grandparents who were very religious and now in

26:04

this world where there's not much definition around that

26:06

and we don't know what we believe and we're

26:08

spiritual and we feel something, it's nice to have

26:10

these conversations where we're like, what is that? How

26:13

can we access more of it? And what are

26:15

the practices that can kind of ground us in

26:18

that? Because that's really what religion is at

26:20

the end of the day. It's helped people really

26:22

stay grounded to their values and to the sense

26:24

of structure and morality and belief.

26:26

It's kept people going for eons

26:29

because they felt like there was a God

26:31

watching or something beyond themselves or an afterlife.

26:34

So it's interesting how religion has served humanity for

26:36

so long and how now this

26:38

new version of it, the spirituality that

26:40

we practice essentially can serve us going

26:43

forward in who we want

26:45

to be, our higher selves. Yeah, and I

26:47

think it becomes less about like someone watching

26:49

us and more about our

26:51

truth and

26:53

our morals and like karma and

26:57

energy and just knowing how energy works.

26:59

I think that's maybe what our generation

27:01

looks to religion for. And I think

27:03

that's the embodiment of it. It's

27:06

not about someone else judging us.

27:08

It's actually like, can we live

27:10

with ourselves? We living our highest

27:12

potential and in alignment with love,

27:15

like true love, not just for ourselves but

27:18

other people. And I think that

27:20

all comes down to the oneness that we

27:22

connect to in meditation. Like I

27:24

know in so many moments of meditation,

27:26

it's just this energy of we're all

27:28

one. We're all one. So if I

27:30

do something to you, it's impacting

27:33

me too. I might think it's just

27:35

to you, but it's not. It's also going to impact

27:37

me and it's going to impact anyone that you're connected

27:39

with. And I just believe that

27:41

very deeply. Yeah. It's a different

27:43

way of looking at it because in the Bible,

27:45

there's a commandment of like whatever that thou shalt

27:47

not sin or do this to another. And it

27:49

was because the Bible essentially was telling you it's

27:52

wrong to do this. Now we

27:54

have this internal connection to our

27:56

moral compass of it's wrong

27:58

to do this, not because an external connection. external source

28:00

says that it's wrong, but because we have

28:02

this understanding and connection to each other and

28:04

to the love between humanity that if

28:07

I wrong you, I'm also wronging myself

28:09

and I'm taking us all backwards. So

28:11

it's sort of a different source

28:14

of motivation to be a good person. And

28:17

that is why we practice every day. A lot of

28:19

people who I know that practice meditation say that it

28:22

makes them a better person. It makes them a lot

28:24

nicer. And I guess it's what you're talking about, this

28:26

connection to the oneness, this reminder. Yeah, I think that's

28:28

for a bunch of different reasons. Absolutely. This

28:30

one also, it helps us to be less reactive

28:34

and able to respond

28:36

in a calmer, more centered place.

28:39

But yeah, we start to see

28:41

the interconnectedness of everyone and

28:44

everything around us. And

28:46

in the world right now, we see

28:48

so much division. And

28:50

I think sometimes that gets louder as

28:53

the opposite is coming closer. As

28:55

we're really waking up to how connected

28:57

we really are. Yeah, how much we

29:00

need each other. Yeah. So

29:02

does someone have to believe in God

29:05

or this God source energy or something

29:07

beyond themselves to practice Kundalini? Or can

29:09

someone who's listening and who's like, I'm

29:11

agnostic or I'm an atheist. I don't know what I

29:13

believe. Can they start this practice wherever they are? So

29:17

when I found this practice, I'll be

29:19

honest, I had zero connection to anything.

29:22

I was at the point in my life where I

29:24

didn't, I thought like you live, you die, period, the

29:26

end. Anyone can practice

29:28

this. And I think

29:30

the beauty of it and

29:32

a big part of what

29:35

I share is connecting to your

29:37

breath and using your breath to

29:39

move emotional blocks in your body. And

29:42

once you start to move those emotional blocks,

29:44

you have the space to really figure out

29:46

what your truth is and what you truly

29:48

believe. Whether you

29:50

don't believe in any higher power or you're

29:52

confused or you do believe in a higher

29:54

power, but you don't, you just start to

29:56

find out what your truth is. And

29:59

my truth as. a teacher is going to

30:01

be different than anyone else's truth and my students

30:03

truth and that's I think that's the beauty of

30:05

it. It's you do it and you

30:07

find your own way, you find your own truth,

30:09

you find your own belief and you allow the

30:11

breath, you really allow the breath

30:14

to guide you, to help

30:16

you clear trauma, clear energy blocks

30:19

and then guide you into your space of

30:21

alignment. Is that what Kundalini

30:23

teaches that we kind of get this emotional

30:25

baggage or these blockages we kind of pick

30:27

them up along the way and we have

30:30

to consistently clear them. Yeah. So it also

30:32

focuses a lot on the 10 bodies. So

30:34

we have one physical

30:36

body but we have the negative mind, the

30:39

neutral mind, the radium body, the positive mind

30:41

and we have all

30:43

of these, we're just like a

30:45

walking field of energy and that's

30:47

a really big focus in the

30:50

practice of Kundalini and what

30:52

this helps us to do, the movements, the

30:54

meditations, the breathwork, it

30:56

can be very physical, it can be for

30:58

the physical body but it all comes down

31:00

to energy and breath and using the prana,

31:03

using the movement to move any energy

31:05

that's stagnant in the body and

31:07

bring all of that prana which is literally

31:09

life force to the places that you need

31:11

it to further activate it and

31:14

to live this life of vitality. So there

31:16

could be a Kriya, there's one that's standing

31:18

out to me right now, let the liver

31:20

live. That's a Kriya that's all about the

31:22

liver and the liver is

31:24

very physical in our body but it

31:27

also has a spiritual aspect to it

31:29

as well. So I really

31:31

was drawn to this practice so much

31:33

geeking out over that connection, the physical

31:36

and the energetic spiritual. You're

31:38

definitely speaking my language, you know, connecting it

31:40

to the Chinese medicine as soon as you

31:42

have the liver and Chinese medicine, the liver

31:45

stores anger when the liver is, let's say,

31:47

stagnant in their terms or in Western terms

31:49

maybe your liver detoxification pathways are a little

31:51

bit sluggish, you're low on nutrients, things aren't

31:53

kind of moving the way that they should,

31:56

your bile is a little stuck. In

31:58

Chinese medicine, they say that this can contributes to

32:00

us being angry and frustrated. And the liver also

32:02

has a lot to do with the hun, which

32:04

is kind of like our spirit

32:07

and our vision, maybe like our perspective, the way

32:09

that we see the world. So

32:11

it's interesting that when the liver isn't smoothly

32:14

flowing and functioning, we can have a

32:16

little bit of a more rigid perspective

32:18

versus what you said Kundalini did for

32:20

you, which was kind of open your

32:22

perspective to where everything kind of felt

32:24

magical and connected and you were able

32:26

to be more present. Someone with

32:28

a clear liver pathway would be

32:30

able to look around and see more beauty

32:32

and presence and everything. So

32:34

it's using that breath work, the movements,

32:37

the specific postures to create

32:39

energy and space and then bring all

32:41

of that life force energy to it

32:43

and then be able to either heal

32:45

physically, hopefully, or emotionally and spiritually. That's

32:49

what I love about holistic health is

32:51

that you can do that through liver

32:53

herbs, let's say, or and or you

32:55

can do that through the breath, through

32:57

something as innate and

33:00

built in as your very own breath and

33:02

that's 1000% why, part

33:05

of why I want to talk to you today is because this

33:07

is sort of a free medicine practice. This

33:10

is something that anybody can access within themselves

33:13

and that's why I love that you teach it

33:15

so freely and share so much with everyone because

33:17

it gives everyone the power to kind of

33:19

just clear things and get things moving.

33:21

So I'd love to know

33:24

what a day in the life of

33:26

a Kundalini practice looks like. Like the

33:28

ideal day for you or for one

33:30

of your students, like how often are

33:33

you doing meditations or breath work sessions?

33:35

Okay. So like

33:38

I said, I want to start off

33:40

by saying this could literally be three

33:42

minutes a day and you, I swear

33:44

to you, you'll see a difference in

33:46

your life, you'll feel a difference because

33:49

it's a very potent powered

33:51

practice. So if it's a

33:53

beginner, I would be thrilled for

33:55

someone to commit to three to five minutes.

33:57

I think that's wonderful and. you

34:00

are going to start to feel so good that eventually

34:02

you most likely want to

34:04

go a little bit longer and

34:06

deeper. The ideal for me personally

34:08

is ideal. So this is

34:10

not something I do every day. I want

34:13

to be very transparent about that. What I

34:15

strive for every day is waking up before

34:17

sunrise. 5am time is really ideal but I'm

34:20

a sleeper. I love to sleep. Ever

34:23

since meeting this practice, it's encouraged me and

34:25

motivated me to wake up because the difference

34:27

you feel when you wake up at 5am

34:29

and do this practice, first of all the

34:31

day is so long. You have so much energy. You have so

34:33

much time and there have

34:35

been so many mornings where I wake up early

34:37

and I'm like it's okay. I'll just nap after

34:39

or I'll nap later. You never do that because

34:42

it's literally like your

34:44

shot of espresso. It's just filling you with

34:46

all this life force, all of this energy

34:49

that lives within you. You're just opening it

34:51

up. Literally tapping into what

34:53

your source is. So

34:55

my ideal is waking up before sunrise, tuning

34:57

in with the mantra we tuned in

34:59

together with. Doing three

35:02

minutes of cat-cow. Kundalini

35:04

cat-cow is a little different. It's

35:06

more like a twerk, really fast.

35:09

Really fast moving cat-cow. I love

35:11

that. Inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale and

35:13

you're like really going with it.

35:15

Three minutes of that. Three minutes

35:17

of ego eradicator which is

35:20

your arms are over your head in a

35:22

V and your fingers, the thumbs are extended

35:24

because the thumbs symbolize the ego. So your

35:27

arms are in a V over your head and you're doing

35:29

a breath of fire which is like holding

35:35

the navel. This is fun.

35:37

This helps with energy. Of course you're energizing.

35:39

You just hear from the sound. It's going

35:41

to energize you but it helps you to

35:43

rid yourself of addictive behaviors

35:46

that are not serving you or bad habits.

35:49

It helps to release the ego. The

35:53

ego is, I mean, it could be the

35:55

critic within us. It could

35:57

be I think so many different perspectives on the ego.

36:00

being able to really clear any of the

36:02

noise, that's not your truth. I see

36:04

that as the ego. Oxygenate

36:06

the body, got the blood flowing,

36:09

activating our intuition. So

36:11

three minutes of CACOW, three minutes of that. And

36:14

then I would go into another

36:16

meditation, a breath work

36:18

meditation. Right now

36:20

in Evolve we're focusing on radiance. So really

36:22

activating the inner radiance and we do this

36:25

beautiful breath that's in through the lips and

36:29

out through the lips. And

36:31

we hold a specific mudra that helps us

36:33

to awaken all that light within ourselves. And

36:36

then I go into the

36:38

morning call, which is a

36:40

powerful mantra meditation where you're

36:43

chanting through each chakra. And

36:45

it's literally charging and clearing

36:48

each and every chakra and solar

36:50

sensor of the body. After

36:52

you do this mantra, you

36:55

have this protective shield around you all day.

36:57

You feel different. And I've had so many

36:59

members of Evolve message me and be like,

37:01

on the days I do this, I feel

37:03

completely different, like untouchable. Like,

37:06

is there a different mantra for each and every

37:08

center? A different boundary center, yeah. Wow.

37:11

Yep. That's incredible. And you like pull,

37:13

you command an energy of each one through the breath. So

37:16

it's a combination of breath and sound. And

37:18

it's just straight bliss. I chills just talking

37:20

about it. That sounds like my ideal morning

37:22

routine. We have to do it. I'm like,

37:24

I'm going to start tomorrow. We'll do a

37:26

set for you. Wow. That's

37:29

exciting. Why is it that

37:31

sound impacts different parts of

37:34

our body, different chakras? Yeah. So

37:36

there are actually different sounds that resonate with

37:38

every chakra. If you go on Spotify, you

37:40

can literally find the chakra. I actually have

37:42

a chakra playlist. And

37:45

these sounds resonate with every

37:47

chakra. It has a different frequency, just like

37:49

a sound bowl. How there's different sound bowls

37:51

that associate with the chakra, it's the same

37:53

thing for mantra. And these

37:56

different frequencies that these spaces hold need

37:58

a different sound in order to liberate. and

38:00

elevate it. And the ones

38:02

that I have on Spotify are different than

38:05

the morning call or long echo in cars,

38:07

but these are sounds in

38:09

Kundalini that we use that really tap

38:11

us into that energy of creation, of

38:13

the universal energy. And each

38:15

one corresponds at the different center

38:18

to unlock that energy within ourselves.

38:21

It's wild that there's a whole spiritual

38:24

world inside of us, literally.

38:27

And it kind of feels unbelievable,

38:29

perhaps, to someone who has never

38:31

explored that or is a little

38:34

bit disillusioned, right? Like I think

38:36

when we're so much

38:38

in the day-to-day, the rat race

38:40

trying to survive, and we're really

38:42

disconnected from our source and our purpose

38:44

and all of that and that inner life force, this

38:47

can feel a little bit like, what do you mean?

38:49

Like I can connect through sound. But there's little clues

38:51

maybe that your body has given you and that you've

38:53

left behind. And I just want to share some with

38:55

the audience maybe for those who are a

38:57

little bit skeptical. One example I have

38:59

is that, you know sometimes when you're crying and

39:01

you have to make sounds, and

39:04

it's just not the right cry if you

39:06

don't. And once you start letting yourself make

39:08

those sounds, sometimes they're very primal, sometimes they're

39:10

really high-pitched, sometimes they're like low and booming,

39:13

and you're letting your body take over and just

39:16

make the noises it needs to make to clear

39:18

what you're feeling and to complete that crying process.

39:21

I think that is like the most innate example

39:23

of how we know how to connect with the

39:25

sound within us, and it can be so powerful

39:27

of release. You just have to try it and

39:30

do it. And then another example I have is,

39:32

interestingly, last week I had a

39:35

really bad period because I was like traveling in

39:37

off time zones and I usually never get cramps,

39:39

but I had horrible cramps and

39:41

I needed to make sounds, but I needed to

39:44

specifically make lower sounds because it was a lower

39:46

chakra where I was having pain. So I

39:48

was in the car and I just naturally kind of started to

39:50

make this like, ah, like

39:52

this lower humming sound. And I was like, wait,

39:54

that's giving me relief. And then I tried a

39:57

higher sound and it was making it worse because

39:59

I was like... bringing energy up here

40:01

where it didn't need to be. I went back

40:03

to the low sound and I got released. So

40:05

all of this to say that like sound

40:08

healing is real just even tapping into your

40:10

voice playing around experimenting when you have pain

40:12

or when you're feeling emotion can kind of

40:15

lead you into your own little creative practice

40:17

and then what you're doing is giving people

40:19

a structure like a proven

40:21

time-tested structure to use sounds that

40:24

can actually activate and clear things.

40:26

Yeah another one I love your

40:28

example so much and another one

40:30

is a Vegas nerve

40:32

activation meditation that I do very often

40:34

I recommend this when people DM me

40:36

they're like I need a meditation for

40:39

this is like my top one to

40:41

recommend because it's simple it's super effective

40:43

if I'm ever feeling like an

40:46

ick a weird that like little anxiousness

40:48

that you're not really sure where it's

40:50

coming from I do this

40:52

one and it's all about sounds so you

40:55

inhale either through your lips or through your

40:57

nose whichever you prefer and then

41:00

on your exhale and

41:08

at first if you're not used to

41:10

making sound you might feel funny or

41:12

awkward especially doing this around people but

41:15

as you continue to practice you

41:17

can take it and allow that to

41:19

travel so like first you feel it of course in your

41:21

throat because that's where it's coming from and then

41:23

you could bring that energy down to the heart

41:25

all the way down to the sacral and the

41:27

root and you literally become

41:30

your own sound healing instrument I

41:32

love that that's like one of the easiest

41:35

simple things I've ever heard and we do

41:37

it naturally how many of you guys listening

41:39

have taken like a sigh or frustrating like

41:41

hmm that happens

41:43

naturally it's like somewhere

41:46

we remember how to use these sounds and

41:48

I'm sure like ancient ancient ancient ancestors did

41:50

this because they didn't have all the distractions

41:52

maybe or like other tools that we do

41:54

they just had to use

41:57

their bodies so that's beautiful yeah

41:59

Wow I'm going to do that all the time now. And

42:02

just do that for five minutes straight, and

42:04

you're just blessed after. It just melts everything.

42:06

It's like your body's this playground, kind

42:09

of, that we've often yet to

42:11

explore, and that we kind of ignore exploring each

42:13

morning. So many people jump out of bed and

42:16

just either like grab their phone or pop into

42:18

their routine, and already start thinking about their to-do

42:20

list and going, going, going. But

42:22

if we just take this time in the morning

42:24

to connect with our voice, with our sound, with

42:27

our bodies, it can change the course of

42:29

our day. And

42:31

going back to your question about the ideal

42:33

day in the life, I

42:35

highly recommend this being the first

42:37

thing you do in your day,

42:39

because everything else you do will

42:41

come from a different frequency because

42:43

you're changing your frequency first. So

42:46

in the morning, we can choose to wake

42:48

up with the problems from yesterday or the

42:50

anxiousness from yesterday, or open our

42:53

phone and start taking on other people's energy,

42:55

or we can take time

42:57

to ground ourselves to take out our

42:59

own trash in the morning before

43:01

anyone else's is out and about, right?

43:04

We just take out our own, clear that

43:06

space, so we could be the most clear

43:09

when we interact with other people because maybe

43:11

not everyone in our life is having not

43:14

time to practice. And

43:16

by allowing ourselves to have that

43:18

time, we'll have so much more

43:20

space for everyone else. And

43:22

that's where, like no matter what's thrown at you,

43:25

you can transmute it into something higher. It

43:28

really comes from that morning space. So

43:30

that would be my recommendation. So

43:32

I love that you're saying that this is a way

43:34

to take out the trash each morning,

43:36

because as I'm thinking about

43:39

the times when life feels

43:41

most overwhelming and when I feel the most

43:43

lost, and like I'm just kind of drowning

43:45

beneath the surface, trying to claw to some

43:47

level of connection each day, it

43:50

does feel like I'm just

43:52

kind of getting to the point where I'm a little bit

43:54

clear, and then the day hits me and I have all

43:56

this other stuff that's just like I'm taking it, whether it's

43:58

from social media or... getting all these

44:01

different texts a day or input from

44:03

all the different things that we now have access to

44:05

that our brains were never kind of prepared to take

44:08

in before our own emotions, other

44:10

people's emotions, all that stuff. We

44:12

never really take the time to intentionally

44:14

clear it. And so

44:17

to intentionally start each day by taking

44:19

out the trash, right, by clearing whatever

44:21

is kind of lingering at the surface

44:23

before we have a whole another day

44:25

of it all in the human realm

44:28

is such a smart way to go about preparing

44:30

yourself to have the space to support others, to

44:32

have the space to impact others in the way

44:34

you want to impact them. And I love that

44:36

you started your story about your

44:38

journey by mentioning how much your

44:41

energy impacted your kids at school when

44:43

you were teaching special education, how you'd see

44:45

that that would even impact their energy. And

44:48

sometimes it's the easiest to see

44:50

in kids or in elders or

44:52

in animals and like people who

44:54

can't necessarily communicate with the

44:57

same masks that people can put on,

44:59

right? You see how much

45:01

your energy affects them. I even see

45:03

it in my mom, like, because my mom can't really

45:05

verbalize as much because she has late stage Alzheimer's, so

45:07

she can't really speak anymore. But

45:10

I can tell when I come in

45:12

with really good, positive, loving, clear energy,

45:14

the way she responds is so different.

45:16

And if my dad is like really

45:18

stressed out that day, as he

45:20

deserves to be, he's her caregiver. So I

45:22

get it. But like, if he's really got a lot on his

45:24

plate, like she reacts so differently

45:26

to just his energy field. So

45:29

it's kind of our responsibility to

45:31

maintain that clear field for others.

45:34

Absolutely. I even see like with my dog. Yeah.

45:36

Like after I meditate, how he will

45:38

just want to lay or even if

45:40

I'm chanting and play my mantras. It's

45:43

energy is so wild when you start

45:45

to play with it. And

45:48

the thing I wanted to mention is

45:50

the early morning helps us to get

45:52

into the subconscious and rewire.

45:55

And I really feel

45:57

like dedicating a practice early in the morning.

46:00

this practice specifically because it's so

46:02

powerful has given me years of

46:04

therapy by getting on my

46:06

mat and by doing this work in the

46:09

early morning hours because the

46:11

world is quiet, everyone is asleep, you're

46:13

in that dreamlike state so you could

46:15

dip into the subconscious and start to

46:17

pull things out and clear things out

46:21

and there's a different frequency on the earth.

46:24

It's infrared rather than the UV

46:26

where we're like being bombarded with

46:28

energy whether it's through other

46:30

people or even from the sun

46:32

we're making our conditions work more

46:34

for us and really activating the

46:37

healing that's available through nature through

46:39

the early morning to

46:41

support us in that way. And

46:44

the other aspect of the

46:46

early morning is when we

46:48

wake up before sunrise we're

46:50

able to gradually transition from

46:53

melatonin to serotonin to

46:55

cortisol. If we

46:57

wake up later we're actually

46:59

going to be more tired and groggier because

47:02

we're going to get more of that

47:04

charade into cortisol hit because the sun

47:06

is all you just feel everyone knows

47:08

that energy in the morning, a hundred

47:10

percent of the morning when you've gone

47:12

outside and it's like the seven o'clock

47:14

hour it's so quiet you hear birds chirping

47:17

versus like nine a.m. where

47:19

the hustle and bustle is beginning you're just

47:21

bombarded into like the cortisol spike

47:23

through society but also through your body.

47:26

So when I said earlier about that you're

47:28

going to have more energy throughout the day

47:30

if you wake up at five a.m. you

47:32

really do because your hormones are

47:34

impacted the release of these chemicals in

47:37

the body is impacted through the way

47:39

you're waking up and when you're waking up and how

47:41

you're waking up and this also relates

47:44

to Ayurveda as well. There's

47:46

different hours of time where it's like

47:48

the katha hours the bhata hours and

47:51

even with going to bed like if you wait too

47:53

long to go to bed you can actually get re-energized

47:55

and it kind of messes up your sleep cycle. So,

48:01

your hormones are impacted and this is

48:03

very much a practice of the glandular

48:05

system because we're doing

48:07

a lot of pumping and compressing of the

48:09

lymph nodes and the glands as we breathe

48:11

in these different ways and it

48:13

starts to sync up our body. It

48:17

starts to regulate our hormones. It starts

48:19

to sync our body to our natural

48:21

cycle. It's like everything is a different entity

48:24

until you start to bring it all together

48:26

and then all of a sudden it's like

48:28

this symphony. You actually start

48:30

to feel that in your body. I

48:32

guess the symphony of nature is kind of the

48:35

original religion. The more you

48:37

can be in tune with that, the more

48:39

you're in tune with your own nature and

48:41

thus the higher parts of yourself, not like

48:43

the gunk in the in between that leads

48:45

us more to the ego or to

48:47

materialistic desires, more to our own

48:50

passions and desires. I

48:52

love that you're talking about this as a way

48:54

of living, not just these practices, but even the

48:56

time in which you wake up and the way

48:59

in which you interact with the world. It's a

49:01

whole lifestyle when you're teaching. You're

49:03

really inspiring me to wake up early now because

49:05

you're right. When I try to sleep until

49:08

like, let's say I'm pushing it. I'm like, oh, let me go back to

49:10

sleep. I'll wake up at like 8, 8, 15

49:13

because my cortisol spike is already starting. The

49:16

sleep that I'm getting during that time is like a

49:19

little bit like agitated, restless sleep and I can

49:21

just feel that my heart's kind of already starting

49:23

to race. I'm already getting a little bit anxious

49:25

and then I wake up in that state. I'm

49:27

starting my day already in the cortisol spike, like

49:29

you said, and I've never had the words to

49:31

put to that. But yeah, when

49:33

I wake up earlier, like 5, 30 or

49:35

6, I'm waking up in a completely common

49:37

serene state and you get to take that with

49:40

you for the rest of the day. Did

49:43

they teach you this in your training? They

49:45

did and I followed up with like other

49:47

readings and research. Wow. Yeah.

49:50

Wow. Incredible. It's

49:52

interesting. I'm getting into a podcast with

49:54

this doctor who's teaching all these more

49:57

alternative ways of healing the

49:59

red light. therapy, the colds, exposure and

50:01

all of this and I'm like

50:04

this is all that the yogis

50:06

were saying for hundreds of years.

50:08

In Kundalini it's a huge thing to take cold

50:10

showers every morning or before you go

50:13

to bed to wash your feet in

50:15

cold water because it supports the

50:17

hormones again in your sleep cycle

50:19

and in the morning just they

50:21

have a whole technique of like massaging yourself in

50:23

the colds shower

50:26

but it's so interesting how all this is

50:28

coming back and a lot of this is

50:31

actually free to us like we don't need

50:33

cold plunges are cool but we don't need

50:35

to buy the thousands of dollars of cold

50:37

plunges like you hopefully,

50:39

gratefully we all have access

50:41

to a shower and we can

50:43

be in cold water every single morning

50:45

and experience that and we could get

50:48

the infrared through that

50:50

time of the day rather

50:52

than need a technology that's I mean I love

50:55

I love all the technology I love my PMF

50:57

mass you yeah I don't have a PMF but

50:59

I know what I'm talking about. I love all

51:01

of it yeah but at the same time necessary

51:03

we have other things that we can do and

51:05

the yogis have been saying this for hundreds of

51:07

years it's just so cool. The yogis have

51:10

been saying and now Andrew Huberman's like yeah

51:12

new scientific discovery. Well I love him because

51:14

he's really he's doing such

51:16

an important job in this world he's bringing

51:18

the science to support

51:21

all of it and sometimes

51:23

people need that to believe

51:25

it you have to try it and

51:28

it's incredible to have like that to back

51:30

all of it up. Yeah. Can you

51:32

talk a little bit more speaking of science

51:34

about the lymphatic aspect of the practices that

51:36

you teach like you said we're pumping we're

51:38

breathing how does breath interacts with the lymph

51:40

and is it is it involved with the

51:42

like gut associated lymph tissue because we're breathing

51:44

into the diaphragm. Yeah so

51:47

there are specific practices that

51:49

are amazing for the lymph system.

51:52

There are breath works that help to impact it

51:55

as well you can get very targeted with different

51:57

creas and practices and a lot of it is

51:59

the pump. of the

52:01

navel, pumping the breath, because as

52:04

we pump our breath in

52:06

and out of our body, it's activating the

52:08

glands and it's activating the lymph system. It's

52:10

kind of like massaging them and from there,

52:12

that's when we can, when we're working with

52:15

the pituitary and the pineal gland, that's

52:18

when these juices start to flow, allowing

52:20

us to access our intuition. So it's

52:23

like this, it's known to be like

52:25

this green juice that starts to like

52:27

move through our body, that helps to

52:29

awaken us to our intuition and our

52:31

lymph system is the filtration

52:33

system of our body and like taking care of

52:36

the trash and what needs to go and by

52:38

moving and moving in

52:40

this way but also moving our

52:42

breath in this way, we're massaging.

52:44

We're massaging it and we're helping

52:46

to move everything along, escalating the

52:48

process and supporting the process. There's

52:50

also movements to agree for like

52:52

the glands underneath the armpit, the

52:54

breath where you would just rub

52:57

your arms back and forth and

52:59

side to side to get

53:01

after. It's like a manual massage

53:04

but also that internal massage through the

53:07

breath helping to move everything along and

53:09

when we can move everything along, we're

53:11

gonna be lighter, we're gonna have more

53:13

life force energy, less gunk that needs

53:15

to take time to process. We're pushing

53:17

it through with the breath work. I

53:20

mean it's well supported that deep

53:22

breathing, even singing helps to pump

53:24

your lymphatic system because it does

53:26

require manual pumping. So I mean

53:28

combining it with those movements that

53:30

are also contracting the muscles and manually

53:32

moving things is so genius and this

53:36

is my thing like the parallel like that

53:38

you mentioned with intuition between cleaning out the

53:40

trash and the waste of the lymphatic system

53:42

and then also kind of spiritually cleaning

53:44

out the trash that could cloud us so that we're

53:46

clearer and can really hear our inner voice. I never

53:49

even thought of that spiritual parallel in

53:51

the lymph. Yeah it's amazing

53:55

and as you said earlier that connection to

53:57

when you're not when you're like

53:59

searching for that divine connection,

54:01

I always say this is

54:04

my mantra for myself and my life.

54:06

If I feel lost, if

54:08

I feel stagnant, if I feel

54:10

unmotivated, I know what I need to do.

54:13

And it's always earlier, longer,

54:15

and deeper. Waking up

54:17

a little bit earlier, going a

54:19

little bit longer and a little bit deeper into

54:21

the practice, and then all of your guidance starts

54:24

to come because you have

54:26

more clarity, you have more space. And

54:29

just through the exercises too, it

54:31

helps to move everything along. Like

54:33

the Cat-Cow is amazing for

54:35

the limb system because you're compressing

54:37

a lot and the neck, even like

54:40

that contraction of the belly. And

54:42

you're combining it with a quick breath. Yeah.

54:44

Yeah. Those quick breaths really do move the

54:46

lymphatic system. You know, speaking of like expensive

54:49

things, things like lymphatic massages or even a

54:51

trampoline, your breath is right there at all

54:53

times. Wow. Amazing.

54:55

You mentioned emotional blocks before and

54:57

how the breath and the practices

54:59

can move these

55:02

emotional blocks and like these emotions that get trapped

55:04

in our bodies. And log us down. Why

55:07

is it that some people will have

55:10

such a deep emotional release just by

55:12

breathing and chanting? Because when you and

55:14

I did our one-on-one, I

55:16

was hysterically crying. I couldn't control what was

55:19

coming out of my body. What's the mechanism

55:21

behind that? I always

55:23

say afterwards, I'm like,

55:25

should I have a disclaimer? Like, I

55:27

just want you to know you can cry

55:29

your first time, but then I don't want

55:32

people to like expect that they need to

55:34

cry. Yeah. Because everyone experiences

55:36

healing in a different way and

55:38

everyone experiences different processes in a

55:40

different way. So this may really

55:42

resonate with someone. It may be

55:44

exactly what their body and

55:46

their trauma that was soared, exactly what

55:49

it needed in order to release. Or

55:51

other people may need a different approach.

55:54

But what happens is

55:56

we go through life and we

55:58

have all these experiences. And

56:00

if we aren't energetically clearing, if we

56:03

don't have consistent daily practice, we're holding

56:05

on to some of that. And it's

56:07

getting stored and buried into our body

56:09

somewhere. And I know when

56:11

I experience now having all of this

56:13

insight and also the increased

56:15

sensitivity in my body, because of this

56:17

practice, it also opens you up and

56:19

allows you to be more sensitive. If

56:22

I'm experiencing something, I know I need to

56:24

move it through with my breath. Otherwise

56:27

I'm going to constrict and trap it

56:30

in my body. So people

56:32

cry for a number of reasons. Sometimes

56:36

there's not a conscious awareness

56:38

of what you're crying or

56:40

actually releasing. I remember one

56:42

time I was in training, we did

56:44

a super powered set and

56:46

I walked up to my teacher just to tell her

56:48

that I absolutely loved it and I felt amazing from

56:51

it. And as I was thanking her, I

56:53

burst out uncontrollably in tears

56:56

where I was almost like, wait, what

56:58

my body is doing isn't matching how

57:00

I'm feeling, but it was something that

57:02

was stored that needed to move. And

57:05

I had no recollection of it. I had no awareness

57:07

of it. So sometimes we know what we

57:09

need to move. We're there for a reason. We're like,

57:11

we're holding on to this trauma. We're holding on to

57:13

this experience and we want to move it with the

57:15

breath. And other times there's a

57:17

lot more that this body is holding on to for

57:19

us that we don't even realize. And

57:22

the breath helps to come in and

57:25

nurture that space and helps

57:27

us to really sit

57:29

with whatever it is that we're holding

57:32

or feeling. And it gives

57:34

us this opportunity to acknowledge it. And this

57:36

can be all not conscious.

57:39

You can unconsciously be doing this, but

57:41

it's just happening through the breath and

57:44

through this elevated space. And

57:46

those are the moments where you're really becoming your

57:48

own healer and your own guide

57:50

and your breath is not medicine to you.

57:53

So it can be something like I said, that

57:55

you're aware of, that you're not aware of, but

57:57

the breath is helping your physical body relax and

57:59

release. It's helping all of

58:01

these connections that may have been broken

58:04

or stuck or sadness start to reconnect

58:06

and then through those Connections you start

58:08

to feel and then you start to

58:10

become aware and then you release It's

58:14

amazing. I think sometimes we

58:16

just don't even slow down enough to

58:18

give ourselves the space to yeah Like

58:20

you said have the awareness or notice.

58:22

Hey, I'm sad about this thing. And

58:25

so when you're doing breathwork I love how you're

58:27

explaining that it can kind of be unconscious As

58:30

you're doing breathwork, you might just start crying and releasing

58:32

something But it's not like you're sitting there like oh,

58:34

I'm so sad about this thing I finally realized it's

58:36

just that your body's doing it for you You're just

58:39

creating the opening for it to come out and sometimes

58:41

you don't even have to go back into that thing

58:43

and verbalize it And kind of like stew in it.

58:45

You just have to let it out. Yeah,

58:48

I also see it as a frequency shift

58:50

So if something is living within you that's

58:52

on a lower more dense Frequency

58:54

and all of a sudden you do

58:56

something to shift your frequency It's almost

58:59

like oh goodness. We're not a match

59:01

anymore. I need to go I need

59:03

to clear and I just

59:05

saw an earth and that's it. That's

59:07

what happens Yeah,

59:09

I Want to

59:11

go back really quick to when you said earlier longer

59:14

deeper. Yeah, that's

59:17

such good advice for someone who is

59:19

feeling Disconnected from

59:21

themselves right now and unmotivated like you said

59:23

and sad or down Because

59:26

I think what happens is a lot

59:28

of the times we get stuck in that and

59:30

we're kind of like in a mode of okay we're having

59:32

like a low right now, we're having this period of

59:35

lack of motivation and sadness and

59:39

Usually in my experience life or

59:41

the universe will send you kind

59:43

of like a painful rude

59:47

awakening to help get you out of that because

59:49

Again in my experience pain really makes

59:52

you present and only when you

59:54

are really present Can you then have the perspective like

59:56

oh this needed to shift to get me out of

59:58

here? Okay, this is what I need I needed to

1:00:00

realize, I needed to kind of like, yeah, let go

1:00:02

of this thing or raise my frequency here. And

1:00:05

sometimes when you're not connecting with yourself, when you're

1:00:07

not creating the space, life will do it for

1:00:09

you through usually a difficult

1:00:11

experience. But when you

1:00:13

choose to go the route of going towards it,

1:00:15

of spending that time with yourself, of waking up

1:00:17

a little bit earlier, of doing

1:00:20

a meditation or a breath work practice, you

1:00:23

allow yourself the space

1:00:25

to cultivate that

1:00:27

presence and get those realizations without

1:00:30

needing a difficult

1:00:33

lesson from the universe to smack you

1:00:35

there. It's like a

1:00:37

shortcut, even though it takes a little longer.

1:00:40

I've had that download so many

1:00:42

times come through to me. And

1:00:44

that's what I see as like a timeline

1:00:46

shift. Yes. Yes.

1:00:49

You take the long hard road and realize it the hard

1:00:51

way and have a really like strong

1:00:53

lesson or you can do it this way. Or

1:00:56

it's like that path of karma versus

1:00:58

Dharma. And

1:01:00

when it's

1:01:03

so wild, so something

1:01:05

that's come through to me that's specific

1:01:07

to what you're talking about is like,

1:01:09

there are lessons that I believe we're

1:01:12

here to learn in our experience and

1:01:16

we either have to learn them

1:01:18

through physical experiences. Someone bothers us.

1:01:20

Someone does something to us. We're

1:01:22

upset. So then we learn this

1:01:24

perspective or we could have

1:01:26

access to this practice. We could utilize the

1:01:28

time of the day. We could go deep

1:01:31

and we can be downloaded

1:01:33

with the new

1:01:36

perspective without having to experience it in

1:01:38

the 3D realm. And I've

1:01:40

experienced that so many times.

1:01:42

And then in that moment, I'm

1:01:45

sitting in gratitude. Thank you for

1:01:47

delivering this wisdom to me. Thank you for allowing it

1:01:49

to be graceful. Thank you for allowing

1:01:51

it to be through my morning practice. And

1:01:53

I'm going to take that and I'm going to utilize it and I'm going

1:01:56

to embody it. And

1:01:58

it's a really powerful thing that you're touching. upon

1:02:00

and it's really cool and I think

1:02:04

one of the greatest things about this

1:02:06

practice is or any really spiritual

1:02:09

practice that you feel connected to that helps you

1:02:11

to get to this elevated space is

1:02:13

that it makes it does make life easier.

1:02:15

It makes it more efficient. It's

1:02:17

less dragging yourself or

1:02:19

dragging all of your things through

1:02:21

the mud and more of floating

1:02:23

with more ease and that doesn't

1:02:26

mean you don't have difficulty in your

1:02:28

life and you don't experience challenges. You

1:02:30

do it from a different place. You do

1:02:32

it from a different perspective and

1:02:34

things are just easier

1:02:37

and more blissful even than challenges.

1:02:39

You're able to see them sometimes

1:02:42

as gifts, as blessings, as

1:02:44

wisdom and it just

1:02:47

changes everything. It sounds

1:02:49

like you still obviously have to go through

1:02:51

like you said the hardships of life but

1:02:53

you get to go through them essentially like

1:02:55

with a friend because you met yourself that

1:02:57

morning. Like you actually created the

1:03:00

space for you to check in with yourself and align

1:03:02

your own energy so that you're there and you're with

1:03:04

you and you feel strong within yourself. You feel like

1:03:06

you have a friend in you versus that you're so

1:03:08

disconnected and just like oh what am I doing? What's

1:03:11

the point of all this? And

1:03:13

then you still have to go through the hard times but

1:03:15

you're doing it from that place of connectedness and that's just

1:03:17

different. It's a different way to live and to be and

1:03:19

it can make those hard times a lot easier. I

1:03:24

went through something really hard recently and

1:03:27

it was I would

1:03:29

say one of the greatest moments of

1:03:31

grief I've experienced and at

1:03:33

the same time the greatest

1:03:36

level of gratitude I've

1:03:38

ever experienced too. And if I

1:03:41

wasn't on this journey I think instead

1:03:43

I could have stayed in grief, I could

1:03:45

have stayed in anger, I could

1:03:47

have went to fear. What's going to

1:03:49

happen now? But instead I was

1:03:52

able to say yes I'm grieving and

1:03:54

I feel every ounce of this grief

1:03:57

but wow am I grateful for all of

1:03:59

this. all that experience, even though it was a

1:04:01

really short time, what it brought me and the

1:04:04

perspective it brought me and what it's going

1:04:06

to bring to my future. And it's just this

1:04:08

space of trust and of knowing. And

1:04:10

when I started this journey, like I said, I didn't

1:04:13

believe in a higher power. I didn't believe in angels

1:04:15

or guys. I didn't

1:04:17

believe in anything other than what we

1:04:19

just see and experience in the 3D

1:04:21

realm and then to be so deeply

1:04:23

embedded into like trust and

1:04:26

faith and knowing it's

1:04:28

just a very much more comfortable path

1:04:31

because what's the alternative just fighting

1:04:33

it, creating resistance, living

1:04:36

in fear. Why

1:04:38

not be able to lean into this

1:04:40

place of trust and of faith? Because

1:04:43

they both may be part of the imagination if

1:04:45

we want to call it that, but

1:04:47

doesn't it feel so much more comfy to be

1:04:49

like, I trust, I trust, even just saying it

1:04:51

like I trust rather than I fear. Yeah. I

1:04:55

think for people who've gone through a

1:04:57

lot of really tough shit, like it

1:04:59

can, it can feel silly to trust

1:05:01

and believe. And I think that's like,

1:05:04

that's the work, right? Is allowing yourself to

1:05:06

feel a little silly because yeah, maybe all

1:05:08

of it's not true, maybe guides

1:05:11

and angels don't exist. Yeah. But like you said, would

1:05:13

you rather live in the alternative where they don't, where

1:05:15

there's no hope, where there's no bit of magic? Cause

1:05:17

the truth is that we're never really going to have

1:05:20

proof that all this stuff is real. No one's going

1:05:22

to come down from the sky and be like, guess

1:05:24

what? That synchronicity was real

1:05:26

or like, yeah, God exists. Humans

1:05:28

will never have that confirmation, but wouldn't

1:05:31

you rather live in the imaginative realm

1:05:33

where that exists and you can connect.

1:05:35

You got your confirmation this morning. Oh

1:05:38

yeah. No, I get confirmation. I choose to believe. I

1:05:40

choose to believe, but I also, once you start

1:05:42

though, you get those confirmations and you're like, I

1:05:44

can't make this up. I can't

1:05:46

make it up. You can, but you still have

1:05:48

to have that like childhood, childlike lens of connecting

1:05:51

the dots and paying attention and being willing to

1:05:53

like craft a story for yourself around it. I

1:05:55

agree. And I just, I know a lot of

1:05:57

people in my life who've just had really tough.

1:06:00

childhoods or who have had really terrible things

1:06:02

happen to them and I see

1:06:04

how much harder it is for them to be

1:06:06

in the childlike faith,

1:06:08

you know, like the childlike energy where they can

1:06:10

believe and like even my husband will say to

1:06:12

me like, you know, I've heard of why we

1:06:14

work so well together is because you still like

1:06:16

believe, like you believe in all these things. You

1:06:18

have this wonder about you, the sense of magic.

1:06:20

You think that all of this is real

1:06:22

and he's like, it very well could be and you make me

1:06:24

believe. Yeah. But it's very

1:06:27

hard for like him within himself having witnessed so many difficult things in his

1:06:29

childhood and his life to sometimes believe that like, yeah,

1:06:31

magic is real. But sometimes

1:06:33

you need people around you that are still

1:06:35

in touch with that magic and serve as

1:06:37

that reminder. It's so true and it is

1:06:39

contagious. It is. It

1:06:41

really is contagious. It is. And then

1:06:43

I think sometimes people can observe and see

1:06:46

the magic that starts to happen in your

1:06:48

life because you do lean into it. Like

1:06:51

I remember my husband one time my friend came over my

1:06:53

house and she was like, oh, I have that same journal.

1:06:55

And the husband was like, wait, do you know about that

1:06:57

journal? And you write and it comes true.

1:07:00

My wife wrote about like, and he was being

1:07:02

serious. Like he was genuinely being serious, but he

1:07:04

doesn't have his journal and he's not manifesting a

1:07:07

right. Exactly. Yeah.

1:07:10

And then it's like, oh, that did open up a piece of

1:07:12

him to believe even though

1:07:14

he's not practicing it. Yeah. Yeah.

1:07:18

You're like actually doing a service to the people that you love by

1:07:20

being spiritual. And that's, I think

1:07:22

a lot of white workers are on the planet right

1:07:24

now to be that. And

1:07:26

it's really hard some days with all that goes on

1:07:29

in our world to show up with

1:07:31

that light and that magic because the contrast on

1:07:33

the outside can be so dark. But I think

1:07:35

it's a lot of our missions and

1:07:38

our path and our journey, a

1:07:41

lot of us, and I'm sure a lot

1:07:43

of your community who have been sincere to

1:07:45

be that light and to know that that's

1:07:47

within you and to never dim it because

1:07:49

it's needed and it's necessary. And it

1:07:51

won't take away from any of the

1:07:53

difficult times that people are having bypassing

1:07:55

any of the

1:07:58

unfortunate events that occur. but

1:08:00

I think it can help just to bring more

1:08:02

love and relate to the space

1:08:04

that we so desperately need. Absolutely. It always

1:08:06

has to coexist. Yeah. That's

1:08:09

why I love our listeners specifically, and

1:08:11

I've always connected so much with the people

1:08:13

who have somehow synchronistically found me at the

1:08:15

right time in their lives. And in my

1:08:17

life, I feel like my listeners

1:08:20

are the OG guinea pigs. They love to

1:08:22

be the ones to try things and discover

1:08:24

things and find the magic and things and

1:08:26

tell their friends. I

1:08:28

feel like our listeners really have

1:08:30

tried herbs, spirituality, all these things first, and they're

1:08:32

the ones that their friends inspire them. So I

1:08:34

know they're going to take a page out of

1:08:36

your book and get into the practice of Kundalini

1:08:38

and now be able to share that with others.

1:08:41

I love that. Could you close by

1:08:43

just explaining to us that beautiful mantra

1:08:46

that you say when you do your

1:08:48

meditation? Yeah. So

1:08:50

each meditation and every podcast I

1:08:53

do, any time I just want

1:08:55

to be connected to my most

1:08:57

authentic, genuine, truthful self,

1:09:00

I tune in with Ong O-N-G,

1:09:02

which is known to be the

1:09:04

thing that started all of creation.

1:09:07

Ong Namo. Ong

1:09:10

Namo. Guru Dave. Guru

1:09:12

Dave Namo. Namo. And

1:09:15

the translation is, I bow to the divine

1:09:17

wisdom within. So

1:09:20

we're honoring that there is

1:09:22

wisdom within us, and we're honoring that a

1:09:24

lot more lives within us than we may

1:09:26

be consciously aware of. And

1:09:28

when we say that mantra, we're saying, it

1:09:31

lives in you, I acknowledge you, and I

1:09:33

awaken you. I'm ready. I'm ready to receive

1:09:35

it. And in

1:09:37

other, less literal translations, it

1:09:39

means I have a healer

1:09:42

within me, a teacher within me, a guru within

1:09:44

me, and all that I need

1:09:47

is within me and lives within me. And

1:09:49

we awaken it through chanting the mantra. Wow.

1:09:54

I am going to at home in private practice saying

1:09:56

it the way that you say it, because it's, like

1:09:58

I said earlier, it's so powerful. powerful when it comes out

1:10:00

of your mouth. And when you say

1:10:02

it with force, kind of like with confidence and

1:10:04

now knowing the meaning, it makes so much sense.

1:10:06

Why? Because you are acknowledging

1:10:09

and giving life to that force within you and

1:10:11

allowing it to activate by recognizing it. So

1:10:14

it's a really powerful thing. I'm going to do

1:10:16

my practice and I am going

1:10:18

to start my mornings with you from now on. This

1:10:20

is, it's settled right now. I wake up and I

1:10:22

pray. That's like my thing. That's the way that I

1:10:24

connect in the morning and it's made a really big

1:10:26

difference for me and I don't even know. Like, again,

1:10:28

I'm not like specifically religious.

1:10:31

I grew up Christian, but I wouldn't identify as

1:10:33

that necessarily, but I just pray to God, whatever

1:10:36

God is and source. And

1:10:38

I just really like thank God so much

1:10:41

for the day prior for waking up this

1:10:43

morning. And I just ask for like protection

1:10:45

and happiness of everyone that I know. I

1:10:47

like mention all the people that I love and just starting

1:10:49

the day with that tone helps so much. And

1:10:52

I see how that's transformed me, but adding

1:10:54

the layer of the breath and the sound

1:10:56

and the movement of the cat cows, I

1:10:58

can't imagine how that's going to transform my

1:11:00

morning. So really good. Me and you early,

1:11:02

we're waking up. How can other people start

1:11:04

their mornings with you? So

1:11:07

I have a membership where you

1:11:09

have access to literally hundreds at

1:11:11

this point, hundreds of meditations starting

1:11:14

at three minutes, five minutes,

1:11:16

10 minutes, 45 minutes. It's

1:11:19

an app evolved by Erica. You can go to

1:11:21

evolve by erica.com and can also

1:11:23

get an Apple app store and

1:11:26

there are so many different selections.

1:11:28

And I also do a live every week,

1:11:30

which is my fave just like coming

1:11:32

on. I always feel most

1:11:34

connected with the group energy and really

1:11:37

channel in the lives. So

1:11:39

the members get a live every week and those

1:11:41

are always saved to the library and there's

1:11:43

just infinite amounts of meditation for anything you could

1:11:45

want or imagine. We can just search in your

1:11:47

app. Do you do the cat cows with us

1:11:50

on your app as well? Okay. So

1:11:52

when you sign up, we're going to go to the

1:11:54

cat cows. What was the second one? You can actually

1:11:57

search, you can search like the keywords. So if you're

1:11:59

looking for. set that has cat cows.

1:12:01

I believe the title is the ultimate morning

1:12:04

routine. Okay, perfect. That's what I like that

1:12:06

you make it easy for us. And the

1:12:08

chance is in that one too. Perfect. I

1:12:10

think it's called the ultimate morning ritual. That's

1:12:12

the newest one that has like all

1:12:14

the goodies and it's just like packed right there

1:12:16

for you. And it has chanting too. So if

1:12:18

like you're not into chanting yet, maybe you want

1:12:20

to start with like a breath express and just

1:12:22

stick with breath work. Yeah. But when you're ready

1:12:24

to try that chance, the ultimate morning ritual. I

1:12:27

mean, I've always wanted to try a champ, but I would just

1:12:29

feel like silly sitting in my room, doing it out

1:12:31

of nowhere, like whatever, looking it up on a

1:12:33

random YouTube channel or Spotify and not knowing if

1:12:35

I'm doing it right. So being able to kind

1:12:37

of chant alongside of you and have you guide

1:12:40

us is really powerful and makes me feel less

1:12:42

silly trying it. And I think I'm going to

1:12:44

get so into it. Yes. I'm excited. Oh my

1:12:46

gosh. I can actually give your listeners a code.

1:12:48

I would love that. Yeah, we'll give them. You'll

1:12:50

link it in the show notes. Yeah. So I'll

1:12:52

put in the show notes. Perfect. Do you want,

1:12:54

is it just like Olivia? It'll be a free

1:12:56

month. And the code could

1:12:58

be Olivia. Perfect. Okay. So you guys can

1:13:00

check the show notes. Erica is so generous right now

1:13:02

giving us a free month of her

1:13:05

app. Olivia and the show notes. Amazing. Wow.

1:13:07

That's very kind of you. Of course. Thank

1:13:09

you so much for being on the show.

1:13:13

You are like so embodied. You're so

1:13:15

in your practice and clear. So thank

1:13:18

you. Thanks for sharing everything. I'm so grateful

1:13:20

for you. Thank

1:13:58

you. You
