Kiran is best known for her award-winning children's fiction which includes her debut novel The Girl of Ink & Stars, Leila and the Blue Fox and The Island At The End of Everything. Her debut book for adults, The Mercies, was subject to a 13-way auction and called ‘unquestionably the book of the 2018 London Book Fair’ by The Bookseller.
