Where is My Guru's "Guru Mama" Series highlights amazing moms all over the country that are changing the way through their example, we view natural child birth and labor, balancing work and life, family dynamics, alternative parenting and what it takes to truly raise the children of the future.  Ginger Garner PT, MPT, ATC, PYT Ms. Garner is an educator, integrative physical therapist, founder of Professional Yoga Therapy Studies, an organization that creates inter-disciplinary curricula and educational competencies for combining integrative and conventional medicine, and owner of Crystal Coast Integrative Medicine & Physical Therapy.  Ms. Garner considers her most important work to be in maternal health care advocacy and health care policy, where through her multi-media platforms she works to increase awareness of, and eliminate barriers to, receiving holistic and integrative health care.     Ginger is a mother of three children, and lives with her husband and rowdy sons on a small island off the east coast of the US.    Heather Church Heather’s early career focused on professional writing, program development, health education, community education and public relations. She obtained Yoga Alliance teacher certification in 2007 and now focuses on yoga, holistic health and writing.   Beyond the professional labels, her passions include outdoor adventures like hiking, kayaking, rollerblading and running, as well as reading, swimming and twirling in her hoola hoops.Heather is happiest at home living a quiet simple life with her husband, daughter and two dogs.
