The day after turning 22, Mackenzie Russell got engaged, and soon moved to northwest Arkansas. With a brand new drivers license and a comparative literature degree, she got a job in market research at Sam’s Club Corporate Headquarters. However, her passion for literature and writing pushed her to apply for graduate school at Stanford, where she currently teaches Stanford online high school and is known among undergraduates for teaching Ghost Stories in the PWR Department.
