Today on the podcast we have Tiffany Dames , founder of NuTravels & Nubian Shorties Night Out. Tiffany’s childhood heroes were 3 generations of women, her mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. It would be their teachings that would instill a phenomenal work ethic in her. Tiffany earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and public relations from Temple University. She knew that her new industry of public relations, would surely not be enough to satisfy her creative desires. The inspiration for launching NuTravels and Shorties Night Out, came from Tiffany being focused on building a career doing something she loved. NuTravels, is a travel company that provides carefully curated traveling experiences for Black travelers Nubian Shorties Night Out is an event company that curates events for you Black professionals to promote Black entrepreneurship, appreciation, and artistry. Both share the mission to create successful Black majority sponsored vacation experiences and events that bring us together and encourage group economics. Through event activation, with her event brand Nubian Shorties Night Out, it was in the early stages where she would grow to understand that the only way to become cash flow positive, would be to stop undervaluing her time, and work, and begin to truly work from a place of genius to ensure profits.
