Brent Cowin joins me to talk about childhood sports, working on his Grandfathers farm and of course his companies new app called JooJoo which is currently available for iOS devices.

I really enjoyed talking with Brent about some of his childhood memories and learning more about him including which sport he enjoyed playing the most while growing up and which position in that sport he prefers.

We also discussed some of his early entrepreneur ventures which included selling books door to door that he found under his bed.

St. Louis "Did You Know?" bits

• The first steamboat arrived in St. Louis on August 2, 1817. It was named Zebulon M. Pike and it took 6 weeks to travel from Louisville Kentucky to St. Louis.

• St. Louis police officials did not start using fingerprinting to help identify criminals until representatives from Scotland Yard doing a presentation on the technique at the 1904 World Fair. Officials announced on July 31, 1904 that they would begin learning and using the technique.

• During the flood of 1993, the Mississippi River reached its peak level of 49.58 feet on August 1, 1993. This level was nearly 20 feet above what is typically considered flood stage. There was approximately 400 million gallons of water passing the Arch every 60 seconds at this level.
