"If you can't do it, teach it"... is one of the most ridiculous platitudes out there. There will be no next generations of artists if there is no one there to teach them.  Ask any successful artist and they will tell you the story of the teacher that unlocked their potential and gave them the courage and drive to pursue this most difficult of journeys. So behind every great artist stands a great teacher and this week on Why Should I Listen To Them? we have one such teacher, Nicole Hoppe.  Hoppe, as she is referred to at Montclair Kimberley Academy, has been sending forth well trained and talented students into the artist sphere for over a decade and is the embodiment of what high school arts programs should be.
