What is your goal? What drives you to be great or to never try? Over the summer I spent a week at K-State for the boys state legion and every night our counselor would guide us in meditation. One night the question stumped me. Is there such a thing as common sense or is it common perspective? My answer, they are the same. My counselor had this little blue book that he kept track of almost every impactful thing that was said to him or that he read. Even some experiences. I was the only one who got to read the book and it was amazing. It was so clearly outlined and taken care of, every word meant something. Sometimes it does feel like words are useless. But you should always try. He was definitely my favorite person that I met there. I encourage you to keep one of these books or notes because you will soon find a common pattern. I read back over mine occasionally and they highlight areas that are important to us that we may not know. They are also great for when you need a little inspiration of uplift of any kind. Keep fighting the good fight. Remember that there is always a silent majority.
