Some studies have highlighted that children of divorce are less enthusiastic about the idea of marriage or less hesitant to end an unhealthy marriage. Other studies have indicated that children have more honest appraisals of what might go wrong in a romantic relationship and focus more on the importance of selecting a partner because of their parents’ union.
