You can tell the host, Laura, is a journalist – the ability to find and tell a story really comes through in this show. Each season covers a specific topic, so far Bigfoot and Aliens, but don’t be put off by the subjects if you’re a non-believer, this isn’t some crackpot show. Instead Wild Thing takes a holistic look at the subjects, the people, the ideas, the science and the beliefs. It’s deeply researched and full of interviews and quotes with specialists in the field. It has a charm too, Laura, like so many of us, wants to believe there is more than we may currently understand – that romantic idea of the unexplored.

The search for Bigfoot has always been fascinating and this show is a great look into that world
