Professor Stanley Wells was co-editor of The Oxford Shakespeare: The Complete Works, Warwick Honorary Graduate and Emeritus Professor of Shakespeare Studies at the University of Birmingham and honorary governor emeritus of the Royal Shakespeare Company.
