The Momentum Replay Series replays our top episodes so that you have the chance to catch episodes you missed, and refresh on others. The idea is to support you more regularly as you take charge of 2023 (through whatever challenges may arise). Here's to health, wealth and wisdom on this heartfelt path of yours.

In this episode I interview Tiffany Rochester, a Clinical Psychologist in Western Australia who works from a systems perspective. This perspective highlights how interconnected we all are, and how change you make in one area will have ripples in other areas of your life. Tiffany introduces the concept of systems in an accessible manner that is very practical. By the end of this episode no doubt you will be considering how you might use this new knowledge to positively affect the different systems in your life.

Tiffany also paints a really rich picture about why uncomfortable emotions are so important – for both you and the little people in your life! In fact, you might find that your world gets very small if you are not able to be comfortable with feeling uncomfortable. The thing is, we all feel uncomfortable emotions – because we are on “the same mountain.”

What is covered in this episode:

>> The Matrix pill of the systems perspective (and how all relationships are within systems)

>> How survival is liked to systems and your emotions (including sadness and anxiety)

>> The modern day parenting challenges (and how giving ‘too much’ may not be helpful to your kids)

>> Why knowing your long-term goals helps you with parenting challenges

>> The process of learning how to say what you need in relationships

>> Making room for big feelings (particularly those in little people!)

>> How we are all on the same mountain having this human experience
