Guest Bio

Amanda is a skilled mindset coach, dedicated to assisting her clients on their weight loss journeys; working through difficulties such as self-sabotage, negative thought patterns, and other behavioral concerns that impact progress. Amanda is a trained psychotherapist with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Bay Path College and a master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of New England. She has worked as a therapist in a variety of clinical settings; engaging clients with therapeutic modalities includingCognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. Additionally, Amanda has personal experience through her own weight loss journey, during which she lost 100 pounds, which greatly impacts her practice by allowing her to share a unique perspective with her clients and allows her the opportunity to share firsthand knowledge of some of the methods and practices that helped her achieve success.
