Fair warning: we recorded this episode in the midst of "practicing what we preach" and ironically having to do so in tandem with addressing these subjects. We thought it was important to record candidly so that there's no pre-tense about what "self-care" really is. Our emotions are unhindered, and our language as per-usual is not dinner table appropriate.

In this final episode specifically about keeping energy moving once you've done the footworkto get it moving, we discuss the best methods of preventing stagnant/stuck energy. While Wednesday does have a general feeling of disgust with how ubiquitous and bastardized the term "self-care" has become, it's the truest essence of the phrase that is key to preventing blockages with your personal energy flow.

Just like the best health care is preventative care for our physical bodies, preventative care for our minds and souls is the most effective method for keeping our energy flow healthy and continuous. We highlight the very realistic ways that true "self-care" for the spirit can look like in order to remain centered during life's peaks and valleys. Spoiler alert: it does NOT look like a serene monk in the lotus position.

And if you still think you're alone and "doing it wrong", just remember that we recorded this episode in the muck of moving through our own most recent challenges. Our emotions weren't "peachy keen" by a long shot and we too struggle (but succeed, usually, thanks to these methods!) to remain balanced and grounded while moving through our own sh*t. The purpose of this episode is to make the most of your hard work once you've gotten moving again so that your efforts aren't counter-productive and done in vain. These approaches to maintaining your healthy energy flow are not a cure-all for life's woes, they are a means of helping you remain centered while finding solutions.  After all, it's much more difficult to recover from a head cold when you won't allow yourself rest and to eat healthy. Why should your mind or spirit be any different?

We hope this helps you to move through your current roadblocks in a healthier manner than you've experienced in the past. We felt that of all the episodes in this series, this one was the most vital in the long run because it makes the concept realistically sustainable during your daily routines.
