In episode 9, I invited a good friend to share her experiences as a mother, professional, and entrepreneur, Shatoria Means, to the show. She juggles being a mommy to two beautiful children, a selfless public servant attorney, and a certified professional coach, and she shares her take on how she takes up space and asks for help.

I decided to have a series about asking for help, accepting help, and recognizing when you need help because being the invincible woman eventually leads to your well-being and mental health care being invisible. After the last year and a half, we all need to be open to asking for help. But, help doesn’t have a specific look, and it can be whatever you need. In this season of my life, I have been working on shifting my mind, and this episode is a culmination of the importance of getting help and other gems Shatoria and I gleaned from Rachel Rogers’ book, “We should all be millionaires.”
