Reggae and dancehall is lacking leadership and unity according to multi-instrumentalist Michael Goldwasser. Speaking exclusively with WMV the co-founder of New York based record label Easy Star said a lot of the issues in the genres could be straighten out if there was a focus on the bigger picture and a united voice.“Me being from the outside and dealing with a lot of Jamaican artist and the people in the Jamaican industry, and I hope no one feels no way about this; me being and outsider critiquing but I do see a certain lack of unity in the Jamaican music community,” Michael said.
