Theresa May declined our earlier invitation.Widely considered the most important date in the Islamic calendar, the month of Ramadan is now well underway. Fasting during Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam, and every year during Ramadan all Muslims are required to fast every day from dawn to sunset. Whilst special dispensations from fasting exist (e.g. for those who are ill, pregnant or nursing, menstruating, traveling, and for young children and the elderly), often this month can exacerbate eating disorders.
