Hello and welcome to the second episode of the Women in Urbanism Podcast!In this episode, we're going deeper in the discussion on gender in public spaces and urban policies.Cities are moving towards more gender-neutral cities, but there is still much to be done. Gender equality is still not explicitly addressed in urban policies and planning and many barriers are to be found along the way. However, acknowledging these issues is one part of the process, many experts are fighting to build better and more equal cities.Our guest, Dr. Mary Dellenbaugh-Losse is committed to achieve this. She is an urban researcher, consultant, and author focusing on social inclusion, participation and gender. Her work comprises project development and management for a variety of funding schemes. She is currently involved in the EU program URBACT as both the lead expert for the Action Planning Network GanderedLandscape and an ad-hoc expert for digital meetings, integrated urban renewal, arts and culture, social inclusion and gender.Follow Mary on social media:
