He’s the photographer behind some of the most iconic album covers and iconic photos of Hip Hop greats such as J Dilla, Biggie and more. He was photo editor of Wax Poetic and Rap Pages, director of photography for the Academy Award–nominated documentary Exit Through the Gift Shop, and music films (Keepintime, Brasilintime and Timeless) . He’s currently Associate Professor in the Department of Visual Arts at the University of California, San Diego.
