Audio tour of the World Soil Museum. The major soils of the Netherlands are highlighted in this part of the tour. The landscapes and soils of the Netherlands are the results of geological forces and human actions. Variations in landscapes, especially in relation to drainage and water, have played an important role in Dutch settlement history. In this second part of the audio tour on soils of the Netherlands, the soils of the following landscapes are discussed: the dunes, the river clays, the sea clays and the peat landscape.
