As we celebrate Epiphany of the Lord Sunday, which marks the 12th day of Christmas, we might recall the song full of gifts none of us want – turtle doves and partridges in pear trees. But the 12th day of Christmas is really about the one who was born to set us free. Epiphany marks the day when the Wise Men finally laid eyes on the Savior – and opened their hearts in worship and opened their treasured gifts before him.  This Epiphany and beyond, let’s consider how our encounter with the Light of the World will open our hearts and re-arrange our plans and priorities this year. Because, once we’ve seen the light, we are changed and called to be world changers.
