Five years ago, four friends hailing from Louisville Kentucky with similar philosophies and tastes in music joined forces, creating The Disco Aliens. Constantly evolving and honing their skills, they created a following in the midwest, playing in Clubs, Warehouses, Festivals from Detroit to St. Louis, Miami to Chicago and everywhere in between. In 2013, They decided it was time for a change, time to level up and test the waters in unfamiliar territory, while also expanding the original four man tag group to a collective showcasing the musical talents of various artists around the country. The westward migration was under way, and the Disco Aliens found themselves a new home base in Los Angeles. After running recon from the shadows, looking to find the right frequency and energy, the Aliens have teamed up with the Wulfpack. For this podcast, Co-Founder of the Disco Aliens Chris Mindel, aka Elektrolyte, takes you on a journey expressing his recent state of mind through some of his favorite tracks, as well as originals and remixes from the Disco Alien collective.
