Biden Economy: Record Number of Americans Using ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ Apps

• A record number of Americans have been using “buy now, pay later” apps amid the surging inflation seen in Biden’s economy.
• A new report from PYMNTS Intelligence showed 6.5 percent of Americans, roughly 15 million, have been using BPNL apps to pay for groceries since last year. Per the New York Post:

Of those using the apps — offered by fintech services such as Affirm, Klarna, Afterpay and PayPal — around 5.4% were low-income Americans, according to the study.

The rest were those whose yearly incomes were at least $100,000.

Jordan Investigating IRS Corruption Claims: Is Agency Spying on Taxpayers ‘En Masse’?

WHISTLEBLOWER ALLEGES CIA INTERVENED TO BLOCK INTERVIEW WITH KEY HUNTER BIDEN ASSOCIATE, COMER AND JORDAN SAY

• A new whistleblower has come forward to congressional investigators alleging that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) moved to prevent federal investigators from interviewing a key associate of Hunter Biden.
• The whistleblower alleges that the CIA intervened in August 2021 to prevent Internal Revenue Service (IRS) investigators from interviewing Kevin Morris, a Hollywood lawyer who has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Democrats and paid some of Hunter Biden’s legal fees, House Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan wrote in a Thursday letter to CIA Director Bill Burns. The whistleblower further alleged that Department of Justice (DOJ) officials were subsequently called in to CIA headquarters and instructed that Morris was not to be a witness in their probe.
• “The information we recently received from the whistleblower seems to corroborate our concerns about DOJ’s deviations from standard process to provide Hunter Biden with preferential treatment. According to the whistleblower, in August 2021, when IRS investigators were preparing to interview Patrick Kevin Morris, an associate of Hunter Biden, the CIA intervened to stop the interview,” Comer and Jordan wrote in their letter. “Two DOJ officials were allegedly summoned to CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia for a briefing regarding Mr. Morris. At that meeting, it was communicated that Mr. Morris could not be a witness during the investigation.”

• “It is unknown why or on what basis the CIA allegedly intervened to prevent investigators from interviewing Mr. Morris,” the letter continues. “However, these allegations track with other evidence showing how the DOJ deviated from its standard investigative practices during the investigation of Hunter Biden.”
• The lawmakers concluded their letter by demanding that the CIA hand over all documents and internal communications pertaining to Hunter Biden and the DOJ and IRS investigations into his affairs, as well as all documents and communications pertaining to attempts to interview Morris pursuant to Hunter Biden probes. Comer and Jordan instructed the CIA to hand over those materials no later than the close of business on April 4.

WWIII Alert: US Army Publishes Retiree Recall or ALACRAT for “Utilization of the Army Retiree Recall Program”

• On March 20th, the US Army Publishing Directorate published ALACRAT 017/2024.  The title of the form is “Utilization of the Army Retiree Recall Program” and it cites Executive Order 13223 under “References”.  Executive Order 13223 is a Bush-era EO from September 14, 2001 titled “Ordering the Ready Reserve of the Armed Forces to Active Duty and Delegating Certain Authorities to the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Transportation.”
• The 18-page PDF for the ALARACT, which stands for “All Army Activities”, contains a slide titled “Directorate of Military Personnel Management.”  Under the first slide, it states:

“What is a Retiree Recall?  -A recalled retiree is a retired Soldier who is ordered to active duty from the Retired Reserve or the retired list under 10 USC 688/688a, 12301(a), or 12301(d) and serves in his or her retired status.  Retiree Recall is not an extension of your MRD.

Who can approve a Retiree Recall?  -The Assistant Secretary of the Army (ASA) of Manpower and Reserve Affairs (M&RA) is the authorized approver to recall retired Soldiers.”

• The ALARACT does reference “peacetime operations”: 

1.E. (U) AR 601-10, Management and Recall to Active Duty of Retired Soldiers of the Army In Support of Mobilization and Peacetime Operations.

• It appears the last time a Retiree Recall was instituted was in May, 2020 when volunteers among 800,000 Individual Ready Reserve and retired Soldiers were sought to help with the COVID pandemic response.  According to the 2020 publication, “retiree recalls” were also conducted during Desert Storm, on 9/11, and during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

• In December 2021, the FDA warned Americans not to use Ivermectin, which “is intended for animals” to treat or prevent COVID-19.
• “Never use medications intended for animals on yourself or other people. Animal ivermectin products are very different from those approved for humans. Use of animal ivermectin for the prevention or treatment of COVID-19 in humans is dangerous,” FDA said at the time.
• There have now been 101 Ivermectin COVID-19 controlled studies that show a 62% lower risk in early treatment in COVID-19 patients.

• A group of brave doctors had filed a federal lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) over the agencies’ unlawful attempts to block the use of ivermectin in treating COVID-19.
• The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. Southern District of Texas in Galveston, argues that the FDA has overstepped its authority and unjustifiably interfered with their medical practice.
• The plaintiffs, Drs. Mary Talley Bowden, Paul E. Marik, and Robert L. Apter, are contesting the FDA’s portrayal of ivermectin as dangerous for human consumption. They note that the FDA has approved ivermectin for human use since 1996 for a variety of diseases. However, they allege that with the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, the FDA began releasing documents and social media posts discouraging the use of the anti-viral drug for COVID-19 treatment.
• “We’re suing the FDA for lying to the public about ivermectin,” said Dr. Bowden.

Before former President Donald Trump appeared in court Tuesday for the second day of his civil fraud trial in New York, he claimed on social media that it has now “been agreed in Court that Mar-a-Lago is WORTH 50 to 100 times the Value” New York Attorney General Letitia James had ascribed to it, $18 million.

Trump was claiming, therefore, that the court had agreed the Florida property was worth $900 million to $1.8 billion.

Facts First: Trump’s claim is false. There has been no such agreement in court. Judge Arthur Engoron and a lawyer for James’ office did not endorse a Trump lawyer’s Monday claim in court that Mar-a-Lago could be sold for more than $1 billion.

In Engoron’s decision last week finding Trump liable for fraud, he wrote that “from 2011-2021, the Palm Beach County Assessor appraised the market value of Mar-a-Lago at between $18 million and $27.6 million.”

But five months later, CNN’s Erin Burnett exposes the lie her network has been pushing for months during a discussion about how President Trump could potentially sell off his properties to satisfy a $454 bail obligation set by the self-proclaimed Trump-hating NY AG Letitia James. Suddenly, without explanation, CNN appears to have a change of heart regarding the actual value of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago.
