Through its network, Aid to the Church in need has an unparalleled picture of the global persecution of Christians, especially in the Middle East.It was Mr Kyrke-Smith and his associates who persuaded Prince Charles to speak out in November 2014 on the persecution of Christians in Syria and Iraq, a statement which received global media attention.
