Tropical Storm Eta to Impact West Coast of Florida; Flooding Possible Appalachians to Mid-Atlantic - Eta will move close to but offshore of the southwest coast of Florida Wednesday and move inland over the northern portion of the Florida peninsula on Thursday. Eta will bring Tropical-storm-force winds, Life-threatening storm surge and heavy rainfall with a potential for flooding. Further North, heavy rain may lead to flash flooding Wednesday from the southern Appalachians into the Mid-Atlantic.
