Research into the relationship between intentions and behaviour show that our resolutions will only be turned into action if they are very specific. The underlining focus here is, formulating the desired results rather than formulating the desired behaviour to achieve the desired results; this is fundamental is getting to the place a change we desire. The aim for personal change is focusing more on the behaviour that will guarantee the results instead of just working towards a result with nothing to back it up.
