Butternut Biscuits

40gms Butter1 cup Sugar2 tablespoons Treacle/Golden Syrup1 Egg1 cup Coconut½ teaspoon Vanilla2 tablespoon Milk1 ½ cups SR Flour

Cream butter, sugar and treacleAdd egg, Vanilla Essence, Milk, Coconut and SR Flour (add a little extra milk in necessary to combine)Roll into ballsPress onto a greased trayBake @ 180⁰ for 18 to 20 minutes

Jam Kisses4 oz Butter¾ cup Sugar2 Eggs1 cup SR Flour1 cup Cornflour½ teaspoon Vanilla Essence

Cream butter and sugarAdd eggs, SR Flour, Cornflour and Vanilla EssencePut teaspoon of mixture onto a greased trayCook in moderate oven for 12 minutes - until light brownWhen cold - join together with Jam.
