Hispanic Heritage Month: Immigrants built the United States of America.
"National Hispanic Heritage Month traditionally honors the cultures and contributions of both Hispanic and Latino Americans as we celebrate heritage rooted in all Latin American countries. During this month and throughout the year, the National Park Service and our partners, share the history, heritage, and accomplishments of Hispanic and Latino Americans of past and present."
The month-long period between Sept. 15 and Oct. 15 represents the observance of Hispanic Heritage Month and is a time for celebrating the histories, culture, and contributions of all Hispanic Americans. And in case you didn't know, the Hispanic population in the U.S. represents the country’s second-largest ethnic group.
