Today I want to talk about the action of getting moving. I save this for the last module of my 6 week program because I think it is important to focus on why we eat and then what we eat before we ever look at the action of moving. This is because I don’t believe that movement is the key to weight loss and I don’t think it is healthy to try to “work off” excess weight.
Now I will agree that exercise is remarkable powerful and useful for our lives. It will make you a healthier person, so adding in movement is going to be beneficial. But to rely on it as the primary source for weight loss, is a mistake in my opinion.
When we carry excess body fat, it is because we are consuming more than we need. It also is because what we are consuming is not good for us, and it is having negative effects on our bodies. trying to workout, so you can burn off the donut, will not equate to long term results that are supportive of weight loss.
