James (14) has never seen the Ridley Scott’s Alien or James Cameron’s Aliens. For this double episode we watched both films together, recording the ‘Alien’ section first, then recording the rest after viewing the classic sequel.

Is the build up to the chest burster scene in ‘Alien’ more distressing than the chest burst itself; and is ‘Aliens’ the greatest example of tension building in cinema history?
