I don't know where the phrase, 'don't believe everything you think' comes from, but it is true that we must evaluate the thoughts that come into our minds. Although we don't have control over thoughts that pop into our head, we can control whether they become a part of our belief system, and we are responsible for the actions we take based on our thoughts. And sometime the key to living an empowered life involves learning to check our thoughts at the door.
