It’s not just The American Experiment. If you are an American, it is Your American Experiment. Yours and mine. This country does not belong to the government. The government belongs to us. The United States government was established to serve the people, and not the other way around. It is high time that we reversed the pervasive, erroneous, collective thinking that the government is “The Master” and the people are its “Servants.”
The ideas that our founding fathers built our great nation upon are worth fighting for. Those legendary thinkers envisioned a true Republic, based on the principles of Individual Liberty, Private Property, a healthy Free Market (which includes free trade with a gold standard), a strong Military Defense, and a fundamental rule of Non-Aggression. With these five pillars as our foundation, each and every individual has the right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. These inalienable rights are the backbone of The American Manifesto. They must be honored and respected for the United States to remain the epitome of an ethical, prosperous, egalitarian society. We should accept nothing less.
The days of aristocratic monarchies are long gone. The King (or the Queen) of your life is looking at you in the mirror. Likewise, the problem or the solution to your life is in the mirror. A truly free society is one where the individual is free to make his own choices, and that means he is allowed to succeed or to fail.
The American Experiment is different for every American. My personal dream may be to live in tiny house in the country with no one around for miles, while another man’s utopia might be a dynamic, densely-populated urban setting. What matters is that every individual be permitted to search for and create his own version of happiness. The mission of our organization, “Your American Experiment,” is to remind our followers of the foundational truths upon which America was built. These are the rights to which we ALL are entitled.
Knowledge is power. As James Madison said, “Knowledge will forever govern ignorance, and for those men that ought to be their own governors, they must understand the power that knowledge gives.” We hope to pass on knowledge, inspire a sense of purpose, and rouse our followers to action. We hope that this page inspires you to understand that the principles of freedom over coercion and liberty over compulsion is necessary now and for our future generations.
Hosts Dr. Greg Brannon and political commentator, Bill LuMaye, discuss current topics centered on our government, liberty, freedom and more.
