I've played drums for every style of music you can think of -- everything from Brazilian samba to 30s flapper swing to breakneck heavy metal...sometimes in front of as many 3000 people or on tv in front of MILLIONS.
But it wasn't as simple as it sounds.  I had to mentally BECOME that drummer before I ever picked up a pair of sticks.  And that took visualizingmyself as a successful musician who could kick @ss.
