Topic: Bad News Doesn’t Age Well

Note from Aimee J.: Don’t wait to share bad news.

Action: A wise mentor of mine taught me that bad news never ages well and that it is best to share it and address it as soon as possible. That stays with me to this day. This doesn’t mean be insensitive to share the bad news, but to make letting affected parties no as soon as possible. And this is applicable in all areas and aspects of life. Bad news is already bad, it gets worse, when people find out you’ve been sitting on it.
