Get ready for an educational and information packed episode with psychedelic practitioner and harm reduction advocate Dimitri Mugianis. Dimitri shares his inspiring story of going from being addicted to heroin and cocaine and having suicidal thoughts to kicking his addiction through an Ibogaine treatment which sparked a spiritual awakening. He then went on to become the first Ibogaine provider to be initiated into the Bwiti spiritual tradition, in Gabon Africa and has since performed more than 500 ibogaine ceremonies, helping numerous individuals kick problematic habits and addictions. He has also performed thousands of ceremonies using MTMA and psilocybin, helping individuals with psychological suffering and those interested in spiritual awakening. Now he is working with psychotherapist Ross Ellenhorn, world renowned psychiatrist, and medical advisor to the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), Julie Holland, and world-famous DJ, musician and producer, Juan Mclean. Together they have create Cardea, an arts based psychedelic practice which offers a dynamic and nuanced approach to authentic growth and emergence from psychological suffering through co creative psilocybin and ketamine retreats in Jamaica and New York. 

Overall, the lessons he has learned through his journeys are similar to my own insights I've learned: there is no magic pill for healing, there is nothing wrong with you, and we are the medicine.
