When managing a crisis, the crisis management team must be clear and concise in its communications. Is it isn't, it risks losing the trust of its employees and stakeholders.
As of this moment John Hopkins University of Medicine is reporting 2,624 deaths in NYC. But NYC department of health page is reporting 2,254. How is it that JHU is reporting 370 more deaths than NYC? Which website is correct? The NYC page says that it doesn't have the most up to date numbers. I can understand if we are talking about a discrepancy of up to 50 people maybe.....but 370? No way. One or the other of both are incorrect. In any case they are losing the public's trust.
