Maybe 3.7 stars? Def. interesting enough to finish at least. Still not sure what's up with YWA formatting these days. OG episodes work b/c terms are clearly laid out @ outset, then analyzed & 'debunked' according to need - or unexpectedly upheld. Peppered with random insights throughout. Where was SM's opening 'okay here's what I know about Lizzie Borden' at the top of the show? Or - an actual recitation of the nursery rhyme + little analysis? [Do I have to google that myself now?] Also - take 30 seconds during the taping and LOOK UP what 1890s $80 is in today's worth (for the record, it's $7600). Things just feel slightly sloppy relative to yore. And ending on an easily answerable rhetorical question ≠ most clever concluding point. [What other famous murderers even were there in the 1890s? Mmm, 'Devil in the White City' dude, HH Holmes.]
