I thought that this episode did a good job of encouraging the listener to not get to caught up in seeking fulfillment from one's professional rank or from knowing everything. I am convinced that seeking healthier means of fulfillment would have a positive impact on the criminal justice system at the very least. Also, I liked the description of the stalwart lawman. Since your guest was Canadian, I pictured Dudley Doright as the lawman being described.

𝘼𝙧𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙠𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 ? Per this episode, maybe a little. Weinman slightly plodding in delivery. Would have been stronger with tighter focus on Hoover. Or early detective lit. Chronological lists of historical events put my ears to sleep. If many YWA episodes suffer from too loose an edit lately, this one feels too tight. Or too tight in all the wrong ways: not enough convo.
