Ginat is a certified macrobiotic teacher and counselor who trained at the Kushi Institute, the world’s former center of macrobiotic studies. She is a world leader from Israel, promoting healthy plant-based eating. Ginat is also a certified shiatsu massage therapist and has practiced palmistry since 2001. She was the co-owner of Satori Natural Foods Restaurant in Boston.

Ginat is the founder of The Rice House, a place of study and healing that promotes macrobiotics. At the Rice House, Ginat offers a wide range of macrobiotic, palmistry, shiatsu, and life coaching services including health consultations, cooking lessons, study courses in macrobiotic theory, health diagnosis, shiatsu, and palm reading.

Ginat is the creator of the annual Whole Health Forum, a natural retreat in Jerusalem for 4 years and now a monthly online presentation. The Whole Health Forum focuses on the macrobiotic way of life. The Forum reaches attendees from Israel, the United States, the Far East and all over Europe.

Ginat teaches internationally and frequently contributes to macrobiotic journals. She directs macrobiotic activities in Israel and is the author of the book ‘Food, Faith & Healing: 40 Stories of Cancer Recovery’ and co-author of the cookbook, ‘Macrobiotic Meals’. She is a frequent contributor to Macrobiotics Today magazine and has lectured at the Kushi Institute summer conference, the French Meadows Summer Camp in California, the One World Festival in England, the Pacific Macrobiotic Conference and numerous macrobiotic seminars in Israel.
