Okay...I'm energized by my toasted bagel, cream cheese and lox breakfast and I'm ready to review. Take it from a convert, UFUKU. When I first became familiar with Michael Rapaport through the Howard Stern Show, I'll admit, I found him to be overwhelming. He soon started to grow on me more and more, though. The way he talks and the specificity of his insults to Baby Booey and Jason Kaplan drew me in. Really...who calls someone a dusty elephant? When I found out he had a podcast, I knew it was the best way to get my regular Rapaport fix.The show covers a lot, both with recurring segments (like keeping it real with Sick Fuck of the Week) and also discussions on music (with an emphasis on rap and hip-hop), sports, and movies. Trust me, listening to the I Am Rapaport Stereo Podcast will make you smarter. I go to a local trivia night each Wednesday, and for 3 weeks in a row I was able to answer a question for our team because of what I heard on the podcast. The sound quality of this show is great, even when Mike's recording from his car (the Vroom Tomb episodes). I usually find myself leaning more towards Mike's side in debates, but his co-host, G Moody, recently won me over--presiding as judge during the Sick Fuck or Beyond Sick Fuck segment, he responded "Hell yeah" to Mike asking him if court was in session. I cracked up.I'm not saying the podcast or Michael Rapaport himself is for everyone, but I'm strongly suggesting you give it a try. At the very least, it's a good way to keep up with current events and be entertained.
