RATING
Well produced. Well acted. Decent writing.Light fluffy entertainment done reasonably well.Overall, I like the characters (rude and insulting as they may be), and find the mystery and setting well put together. While I don't entirely disagree with the other review, I don't find the comments inappropriate to the milieu or characters. It's set amongst catty rich people. I would probably have leaned more to 4 stars overall, since while it's well made and acted, etc., there's nothing outstanding about it. BUT I felt that a 1 star review for nothing more than outrage was unfair and wanted to balance that.
It's not a liveplay, though it's scripted like one (From what I understand).QoR opens and closes each episode with the group of PCs playing a game, and then jumps into an interesting TTRPG world where their characters exist. Or is there some crossover? There are dark rumblings, and not always on the right side of reality... While it's easy for any D&D-esque story to fall into certain kinds of stories, I am finding the characters interesting enough to stick with it, and the world has new stories to unfold.
First you made me cry with your lovely writing about Andre Norton, then you took me to another planet. My listening time is random, as is my writing time to review - so when I review, it has to be something that really catches my ear. Everything was so well done!
