This immediately became a binge listen podcast for me and I like them enough to support their patreon. Still catching up, but the episodes are pretty short (20 or so minutes) so not too much of a commitment to give one a try. As a non-binary person I appreciate the way Riley's character is handled (I get the impression some of the group that puts together the show are non-binary themselves). The humor is of the sarcastic / absurdist / black comedy variety and weirdly relatable considering the subject matter. The main characters feel very real and fleshed out and have great chemistry. The show also does a good job of incorporating mild horror in a way that feels almost comfortable and normal in a WTNV type of way, but much less surreal and understated. It's got a liberal bent to the humor and there is a fair amount of references and scenes involving drugs and eating humans and pets (both in a light hearted manner) as well as some sexual innuendo in most episodes. The topic of death and the afterlife come up frequently. Some other one off ones I've seen are things like bullying, body image issues, and ableism, but these are generally marked in the show notes. If you're good with that, please give this a try. You won't regret it :)
