A listenable story, but I can’t say I felt anything. With all the editorialising and writing being considered retrospectively, there was little opportunity for presenter development of learning, as the first and last episodes had the viewpoint.
More of a family dispute made public, than a story of intrigue. I can hear more riveting stories at the pub.
First two episode: chilling retelling and excellent sounds scaping.
Subsequent episodes are very padded: trips round a village, quickly disproven accusations, non-committal challenges.
Unfounded claims that 'the village is against him', just because he didn't have a social club membership or that a village florist was close.
Probably won't reccomend.
