I believe video game companies are terrified to try a new anything. All they care about is keeping any franchise alive even if it may not do as well because they want to keep stockholders happy which I think is keeping these industries from being more creative with their ideas.

Another great listen and my only critique of your movies would be Batman. I believe that the length of that movie for it to not feel rushed would be on par with Lord of the Rings, I would absolutely watch it but I know a lot of people would not be on board with a movie +4 hours long!
