Edward Paul Jones is an author of novels and short stories. He is also a Professor of Creative Writing at George Washington University.
Jones’s first book, the collection “Lost in the City,” was published in 1992. His second book, “The Known World,” was published in 2003 and won the 2004 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and the 2005 International Dublin Literary Award. His third book, “All Aunt Hagar's Children,” was published in 2006.
Jones received his B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross and his M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Virginia.
