Jrue Holiday is an accomplished NBA point guard currently playing for the Boston Celtics. He was drafted 17th overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2009 NBA Draft after a standout freshman year at UCLA. Holiday earned his first All-Star selection in 2013, becoming the youngest All-Star in 76ers history. Traded to the New Orleans Pelicans in 2013. In 2020, he joined the Milwaukee Bucks. Holiday has been named to multiple All-Defensive Teams and became known as one of the league’s top two-way players. He joined the Boston Celtics in 2023 and surpassed 15,000 career points. Off the court, Holiday is a philanthropist, establishing initiatives with his wife Lauren, a former U.S. soccer star, to address social justice issues. He is also a two-time Olympic gold medalist, contributing significantly to Team USA in 2020 and 2024.
